I'm using wired ethernet, 100mbs, which seems to be running at about 1%.
I've checked that it's using flac (the flac process is definitely running and using a bit of cpu). The whole of my music library is stored in flac format (some at better than CD) and all run perfectly. I upgraded from SB 7.5.3 to 7.5.4. Tinkering with the bufferthreshold seems to have little effect (I am stopping and restarting between changes). Sometimes, without changing any settings, I get over a minute delay, other times around 10. Once the server is started it's usually stable at whatever delay it's decided on. It's most strange. I can live with < 10 sec, but beyond that one is not sure whether the system is running or not. For a 1 minute delay the buffer must be getting quite big - 70/80 MB? When I first fixed this with the bufferthreshold, the delay was negligible. I can't see what's happened since then except the SB minor upgrade. -- PasTim ------------------------------------------------------------------------ PasTim's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=41642 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=35718 _______________________________________________ plugins mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
