That is possible right now. Just un-check the usage of the Standard Configuration, and you can put anything in the Expression in () or any other field that you want. Bruce didn't remove any functionality from powerpro in that regards...he just made a nice single-checkbox and layed out the groundwork to assist in those that like making scripts for others in the powerpro community a way to have a predictable set of advanced options checked so a shared script would work on the destination system more predictably without needing tweaking...as long as everyone had the same standard configuration option checked. > Personally, I don't care too much if '+ or \+ stops working. > My editor has word wrap :-) Heh...I can understand that (I agree wordwrap is a good item to use)...others like the functionality however =) For those that wish to put the effort into it, that functionality does let you paste scripts into E-mail without having to have the end-user having to fix the line breaks that occur on lines with more than 30'ish characters. Thanks for those that put that extra effort out =) > This thread, and many similar recent threads, would be > unnecessary if the Standard esc char was ~ for example. No perfect world <sigh>. I just bought my new reading material "Art of Assembly Language" in the hopes things will solidify a bit more in my understandings of some of these concepts. Hopefully it won't be a $63.00 fly swatter! =) > The poll merely showed that 2% of our members were unable > to predict the consequences of using \ as standard for escape. Probably more like 10-15% of the active user base...as I'm sure there is a good percentage of this groups users that are terminally defunct. Yahoo has probably disabled their E-mail accounts from bouncing. Yep, unable to understand the consequences of \, that'd be me...but with the discussions that had occurred at the time, and with Bruces recommendation on him thinking that was the best guess on a way to go that was enough for me to trust he knew more than I did =) Aah, the interesting dynamics of democracy. ;) David Troesch | Atlanta, GA | ICQ# 2333123 Send a message to your politicians about important privacy topics. http://action.eff.org Funstuff: and your point is...? ------------------------ Yahoo!
