Thanks for taking the time to try.  

The only related things I have been able to find in a web search:

- apparently, for 64 bit windows, there are separate registry trees
for 32 bit apps and 64 bits apps
- powerpro's deskband should work, but won't be compatible with see
through task bar

I'd have to also change the linkage on all the help buttons on the
config dialog:  too tedious to make these handle both situations.
