With tcpflow, you can capture traffic for a specific port or host. Example:
sudo tcpflow -c -i en0 port 25
or
sudo tcpflow -c -i ppp0 host mail.domain.com
to capture traffic on the ethernet device (en0) for the SMTP port (25) or
for on the modem device (ppp0) for the mail.domain.com host.
