"tcpflow" will capture the ethernet stream (free). Also Net Tool Box (I forget if you can use the Traffic Watcher function for free). Neither separate streams like Anarchie/Interarchy used to do. Just make sure you're only checking for mail when you have any of these listening and it should be pretty clear what the PowerMail/mail server dialog is. Chris --
