Right, my bad in description, I realise that's what you meant. >I assume my username and password settings are >correct as they are the same as the ones I use to pickup my mail from the >same server. Assumption is a bad thing, but I guess if you're not getting a 535 authentication failed, then they might be okay. :) >I don't think powermail is sending a 'MECH=PLAIN' when authenticating. >The error I got in the mail log on the server is: > >NOQUEUE: [81.5.187.51] did not issue MAIL/EXPN/VRFY/ETRN during >connection to MTA Interesting. Do you have a transcript of the SMTP conversation? I am not versed in ESMTP so I don't really know much about how authorization works (if you have an rfc number handy though I would be interested to read up on it). As I've indicated though, PM speaks to Courier without issue, so I would be inclined to suggest that maybe your mail server isn't giving PM what it wants to hear before doing the MAIL FROM... part. -ben -- Ben Kennedy, chief magician zygoat creative technical services 613-228-3392 | 1-866-466-4628 http://www.zygoat.ca
