Dear Richard
I don't see the point. I KNOW from my tests that C1 is superior to PS RAW for my 1ds files. I stated this in an earlier post. As I see it you don't believe me. Fine. Why would you believe anyone else? I know about a dozen photographers, whose opinions I respect, who have also found C1 to be superior.
The best solution is for you to try it for yourself. You will then know it works for your type of file.
Although there are a few shortcomings to the C1 workflow these are relatively easy to overcome and are nuisances rather than problems with the process.

Would anyone be up to a mini challenge?
1 RAW file and a C1 expert to get the best out of it and a separate Camera RAW expert to do the best with the same file.
Document the steps and then we can all see.
I am interested in C1 but have found its workflow to be a bit clunky - but if the images are better then it is worth another look
What do people say?
