I have seen many industry leading experts, such as Bruce Fraser and Jeff Schewe who think Camera RAW is better than C1, but am interested if C1 really is better.

Dear Richard

I think that both of these are connected with Adobe in some way?

The real problem comes with the different applications photographers have for their files. I do a basic RAW process in C1 and then have actions for other things in PS. Part of the problem is that we often do not know the R/R when we do all the preliminary work. USM should be the last part of the process before litho print. This makes a workflow for Epson prints totally different than a workflow for stock images, or in my case conversion to CMYK for my own self publishing projects.

What I try and achieve is the best, unsharpened 16bit file in C1 for archive. Everything else is done in PS including some simple batch actions.
