Hi Michael! That was 75 years ago, the food had more vitamins and especially more minerals then because of crop rotation and just newer soil. Now we have farmed the same land for 250 years and had 50 years of "monoculture" (the opposite of crop rotation which is seldom done any more) and supposed "supplementation", which in practice replaces only three of the sixty minerals. The most supplemented vitamin is Vitamin A, typically included in large amount as a marketing ploy because it is first on the list and people will not read the whole list. -- Regards, Pete http://pete-theisen.com/ _______________________________________________ Post Messages to: [email protected] Subscription Maintenance: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profox OT-free version of this list: http://leafe.com/mailman/listinfo/profoxtech Searchable Archive: http://leafe.com/archives/search/profox This message: http://leafe.com/archives/byMID/profox/[EMAIL PROTECTED] ** All postings, unless explicitly stated otherwise, are the opinions of the author, and do not constitute legal or medical advice.
