Hi, I just wanted to know if you use a wireless router (say wired from router to desktop & wireless to laptop) will also work like a switch to share files. I had a desktop for nearly 10 years and now I have a laptop also. I can use a wireless modem to share the internet but that wont allow me to share files I suppose. Will a router do that or do I have to buy a switch along with the router. My laptop has a N series 5 GHz wireless card which will work in dual band also. So I am looking for a dual band wireless router.
