Yeah, both printers are HP --- a LaserJet 1020 (suspiciously close to your "1012" reference, and it doesn't work with my wife's new MacBook) and a D1500 color inkjet (which does have a Mac driver). Maybe I need to look at HP print servers (or just chuck these printers completely -- the color one in particular is a huge PITA -- the cartridges last for what seems to be about 20 prints).
