Yeah --- looks like I have a have a big caveat stuck right in my left 
emptor. <g>

I had a couple of Canon color printers before, and they were better -- 
we really don't print many photos any more -- after an initial 
enthusiasm, actual research showed that printing photos locally was a 
whole lot more expensive than the old-fashioned "drug store" or "Sam's 
Club" variety. So, the color printer is mostly for kid-school projects, 
where photo quality isn't necessary.


I guess I need to approach the whole printer issue with some actual 
research. (Not my usual "unencumbered by the thought process.")
