I could be wrong, but after viewing the listed website link, I thought the
announcement was referring to a new product that includes only the schematic
portion of the current DXP.  Although nVisage is a bit more than just the
schematic, it does not include any PCB tools at $2,995.00.  I will have to
go and read it again to be sure, but there is also a demo version available
that would confirm or deny this.  If this is the case, I don't think a
substantial amount of resources would be needed at all since they only have
to delete the PCB tools from the current DXP product to create nVisage.  I
think this a great alternative to some companies that have several circuit
designers and only a couple of layout people, therefore not requiring a full
license in areas where it will never be utilized.
