like why is it when a dialogue box is open you cannot go to another open DXP window?
people have already mentioned the number of steps (mouseclicks) it takes to accomplish things
I could keep a list if you like, but that will only slow me down more, I get the impression Altium has a bunch of talented software developers but does not have people with practical use in pcb design or CAD

the biggest shortcoming is the almost absolute absence of intuitivity, the software should be organised around the process, look at the software, it looks like there is no organization whatsoever, the software could have been better organized by chance, it's almost like someone intentionally jumbled things up to make life difficult
