The cvh is now out of the car and the modifications to the frame have been 
started. Scary moments as this is being done 15 miles away and my only car 
currently has no engine in it!! My brother is taking photos as he goes and I 
will post these as soon as the job is done.

Does anyone have the fuel flow and pressure requirements for the fuel pump to 
use with the zetec? My brother has a Facet pump sitting on the shelf that came 
out of a yank motor, my guess would be that this would fill the requirements 
but 
would prefer to check that it isn't going to give me too much pressure.

I wonder why they trust the word of a garage rather  than the owner? Or even 
themselves? They told me they would accept a statement  from a garage of the 
chassis number (and the garage had to fit the chassis  plate), but wouldn't 
accept that I could fit the plate and they could check the  number --- 
absolutely bizarre! I just ignored them, fitted the chassis plate and  they 
checked the number - job done.
