I was talking with Cdr.Jen about RR's as we often do<g>
It sent me on a day dream to a place between "what could have been" and what was.. I had dreamed that Royal Rangers was a "outdoor all weather adventure" and that the Dad's of my church would flock to go camping, NAW.. Summer in the Pacific Northwest is about the only time period that resembles camping weather, so it was befuddleing that early on.. The church would shut RR down for the summer. *On reflection.. if RR's is about "ministry" then Ministry oversight should have a say in the churches *program.. I didn't see that back then and said so.. causeing stress, discord and straining relationships that needed to be stronger.. "What could have been" ...never happened You guys shut down.. or do you go into relax mode class "B"?
