Commanders   I think you need to review your US history class or your US government class this form of government we have is not a true democracy. It is a "republic" and it is only a form of democracy when we vote during elections for public offices, bond issues, taxes, etc. Like the pledge to our flag " ... and to the republic for which it stands one nation under God..." not to the democracy. Please take this in a kind way.   Travis
