Actually, brother, I think you may have missed my point. I was not referring to democracy in the USA, I was referring to democracy in a ministry where we have appointed leaders by God to decide the focus and direction. If we were to bombard them with our votes before anything got decided or acted upon, then we would cease to become a ministry and become a beaurocracy.
Also, in this ministry, you say "the majority would be lined up with God so there would be no problem." Have you never met another Christian with a difference of opinion on any subject matter? Or have you never met another person in the ministry who wants to go in a different direction and claims to have heard from God that their way is better? My entire point was that God has given the leadership to serve the Royal Rangers program and we need to be obedient, submit and follow the procedures for change. Otherwise, just imagine the difficulties of being able to focus on the boys if we are too busy focusing on the subjects to vote on within the "ministry."
