One fact that Victor forgot is that per capiata, Australia is on par with the US in gun
related deaths and we have some of the stricts gun laws in the world. 99.9% of these
deaths are from unregistered weapons.

The US population is approximately 15 times that of Australia (289 million cf 19.8 million)
If Adrian's statement is correct then there would be only 69 * 15 = 1035 gun related deaths in the USA per year.
There are 30,000.
Thus the USA has 30 times the number of gun related deaths than does Australia on a per capita basis.
