methods of teaching by counterexample are intolerable to my way of thinking.
I heartily recommend that anyone considering going to NTC not do so until
NTC philosophy and scripting changes. Never treat a commander like you don't
want a boy treated, even if the goal is to teach the commander not to do
that. Period. No, I don't care if the lesson is good or the motives are
pure. The means must be holy, too.

talking about. There is much good about NTC that should be preserved,
though. I'd like to go back and take it again sometime after they eradicate
the negative example and harsh spirit, and then I would consider taking
ANTC. When I attended, there were some good training sessions, and some
opportunity for fellowship and making new friends with brothers in Christ.

I agree with Soaring Golden Eagle. Jesus did not teach from the negative -
He taught from the positive, i.e., follow my example, this is how you should
do it, etc. He did not curse and beat the woman caught in sin then turn to
the disciples and say, don't treat people like that. Let me know if I am
wrong on this. I don't think I am.

By the way, I thoroughly enjoyed ANTC.
