If all you saw was model Christ-like behavior that was 100% in line with the Bible,
then I am truly amazed. May God shed His true light of love and peace on the
situation, and reveal what His opinion of the whole thing is to all of us.
What did Jesus think of hypocrisy? Did He ever say "Do as I say, not as I do," or did
He instead condemn those who did? Didn't He teach His disciples to do as He did,
healing the sick, preaching the Good News of the Kingdom of God, casting out demons,
and walking in righteousness and love?
Did Jesus ever once do something wrong to show how bad it was so no one would do it?
Did He ever have a fit of rage and smash His coffee cup (a fruit of the flesh as
listed in Galatians) to demonstrate how bad it made people feel? Or did He instead
constantly demonstrate love, even when consumed with zeal?
It was zeal for the Lord that caused that report on NTC to be written. If it reveals
truth that causes a change for the better, then that is a great thing. If it is not
true, then just testify of the truth and the truth will prevail.
That report on NTC is biased. It is biased to show how a negative and ungodly training
concept can ruin much of what otherwise would be a camp that I would heartily
recommend.
