I called Riv WHQ, and spoke with Will. I ended up ordering a 53 MIT. We 
discussed drop bars and he recommended non-drops and canti brakes for me on 
this frame on this frame. If you are confused as I was, call B4 ordering. 
It may  save disappointment. FWIW, the ST diameter is 26.8.
