Writing these files to the temporary items folder seams quite reasonable, but the problem seems to be that they do not get deleted when RB quits. They then get RE-CREATED when the IDE is launched again.

Every time I launch the UB IDE, it ADDS 216 items to that directory totaling about 25 MB.

 Hi,

I am finding that if the OS X UB IDE is used for several days
 eventually my HD fills up.

That's RB writing out the plugin files it wants to load.

Yes I thought that.

But it also writes out images.
Thankfully the PPC IDE doesn't do this.
