"who gave it to them?"

I missed a very fundamental theme here. Who is it that would be bestowing your
homeland to you? Who is the 'THEY" that have that authority?

Who gave Israel to the Jews? Who gave America to Americans? Who "gave" France
to the French, or China to the Chinese?

Who gave us Massachusetts and Pennsylvania and Rhode Island and the other 13
stars on the original flag?

Who is the "THEY" that has that authority if it is not "US" meaning 'we the
people' in both Palestine and the U S

There is no solution for peace in the Mid-East or the war on terror that does
not involve a mutual respect for all peoples and cultures to live in security
and liberty, Jewish or Palestinian or Muslim or Christian or Oilman

Good god, if you are living on a piece of land and you have been living on it
for quite some time and no one has contested it, you _don't_ need anyone else
to _give_ _you_ that land. Read some history, frpete'sake!

As a matter of fact, a minor matter of fact, Israel rejected the Oslo
Agreements and guess what, the whole of Mandatory Palestine is now _disputed_
_territory_ .
