It doesn't serve ANY purpose. You were the one proposing more criticism... not I. Saying I am too Cosmic for you is like saying you are too obdurate for me. Is that either right or fair? I was expressing SIMPLE truths. Which basically boil down to... we need to clean up OUR OWN act before being concerned with others cleaning up their acts. Is that a clear enough statement or do I need to change who and what I am in order that you care to understand me or what I am saying?
The rights I care most about are HUMAN rights. Two wrongs will never make something right. You are contradicting your own message when you insist on pointing out the wrong that someone else is involved in... in order to minimize an even greater wrong. Is it too cosmic to say that ALL people deserve to be treated HUMANELY? donnella whitacre wrote: >you are a little to cosmic for me. >the point i was making is that that the arabs are saying israel does this and >that when worse goes on in the countries around them. >they have a lot more rights in israel than the surrounding countries and >people who are not muslims are treated far worse than how they are being >treated. >of course we should always work to be better, but continual criticism of one >country by those who need to clean up their own acts serve what purpose? > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------ Yahoo!
