hank: were is every one's compassion for all the jews displaced from arab
lands? think about their homes and all they lost. they were refused to return.
and ben gurion allowed 100,00 to return . that is in his biography.
there is a family reunification program that is in effect if people can prove
they belong there.
i have lived in my house for 7 years, built wonderful gardens and such, but if
my landlord sells the house, we have to leave if the new land owner wants it.
i have all the compassion in the world, i work with interfaith groups which
include palestinians in jerusalem. they feed children on both sides with out
any qualms.
they(arabs) were given jordan, and 22 states.
populations transfer in war, some go on with their lives. the jews who came
from the surrounding areas did.
the iraq community of jews is very old . 2,600 to be sure and was displaced in
one decade 125,000 people. lost every thing.
in our need to be fair, don't both sides need to be considered?
you don't see any jews living in refugee camps. although some did for months
on end before they could be placed.
how fair do we have to be before we are overcompensating?

This is apples and oranges. People live on the land. They have rights in
the land. There are commons which are a public trust. These are
public/state land. Focus on the villages and the farms. Focus on the
businesses and the homes. Palestinians were displaced and forbidden to
return. Get a little compassion for them. There is a fog here about
perception. Try to see through that fog.
