I've been using EAC and MediaMonkey, recently switched to DBpoweramp. It works fine with default settings, has loads of features, gets album art, polls several databases, verifies the rip. Best of all it is really fast.
I never thought I'd want to pay for a ripper but this is well worth the $28. Free trial. I get about 3 CD's per gig.
