Eeh 6.5.2 does not have proper downsampling ? It use that old method when the SB3 is just discarding 1/2 of the samples, can make horrible aliasing artefacts wehn you get 7.4 (or 7.5 probably with the Touch ) you notice that you have anew binary named sox going in the background doing really good samplerate conversion for your older players. I don't remeber exactly where in the 7.x series real downsampling ws introduced.
Btw did you have another version of "fragile" that you deleted ? ss/sc/sbs is notoriusly bad at housekeeping so a "look for new and changed" scan does not always do the trick.
