Thanks for the responses, however I have tried a complete "clear & rescan"....also had the original Redbook "Fragile" but moved it out of the music directory entirely at first so as to not interfere. I've also hard rebooted the server and all my SB3's. Still does the same thing.
The songs play just fine and I can get to them in every way except Artist> Album>. Its got to be a tagging issue some where but I do not understand how Slim Server sees all of the tagging properly but doesn't pass that along to the SB3's. Do the SB3's read the tags themselves? Separately from Slim Server? Doesn't Slim Server just pass the tag info to the SB3's?
