Thanks for the info Phil. I have checked my tags every which way I know
how with multiple pieces of tagging software including MP3tag. All of
the tags seem to be correct. Whether I use EAC to rip a CD, using the
FLAC front end encoder...or go back and edit / re-edit them by
hand....anything ripped from a Redbook CD to FLAC reads just fine no
matter what I do to it after wards with what ever tagging program. And
yes they are all FLAC tags. No ID3vx anything that I know of unless
those tags are some how embedded into the file along with the FLAC tags.
I don't even know if that is possible? Don't think so. I believe that a
file needs to be tagged either one way or another. MP3tag seems to
clearly show me the difference between a FLAC tag or say an MP3 file
with an ID3v2 of what ever when I veiw the files properties. If there is
some other way of verifying things I do not know of it.

But no matter what with the 24/96 rips from DVD-A I cannot get my SB3's
to find the "Album" by going / scrolling Artist> Album> Title>
etc....even though the tags all look fine. Even tagging the individual
files by hand with either MP3tag, Tag&Rename, or Media Monkey doesn't
solve the issue. The SB3's see and play the files in every other way
except that though. Which is what doesn't make sense. They see and read
the tags. They display the info. They play the files. Just not in the
order Artist> Album>....

It's not a huge deal as it is possible to find and play the files, how
ever it's one of those things that drives me nuts because it should
work! It's probably something very easy and simple that I'm missing but
for the life of me I cannot figure it out. Just one of those quirky
things I guess.

Hopefully this goes away when the Touch comes out and I upgrade to the
latest Slim Server version cause I have quite a few DVD-A's that I would
like to store.

If any one out there has had a similar problem or has a solution I'd
love to hear from you. Or if any one has had success ripping DVD-A's and
you can scroll and browse your albums in any fashion you like....what
did you use and how did you do it? As far as I know there isn't anything
else available other than DVDAexplorer. ????? Thanks.
