The players don't have any interaction with the tags. The SB scanner
reads the tags during a scan and writes to a database - this is what is
used to drive the UI - except when you are in "Browse Music Folder"
mode, when the contents of the drive are read directly.
I suspect your problem is caused by the fact you normally use EAC to
rip/tag but couldn't in this case and T&R writes tags SLIGHTLY
differently to EAC.

I would download MP3Tag and take a look and see what tags are actually
there - on FLAC files you do NOT want any ID3vx tags - only FLAC/Vorbis
tags.
