Hi Andre;

I dabble with a couple of modules in HOn30, Maine 2
ft.
It consumes more money hobby money than time overall.
I could never stick to the narrow gauge as a single
theme because there is not enough variety. All
equipment is home road, only a couple of paint
schemes, etc. Standard Gauge is far more interesting
in that regard, with the ability to model a piece of
equipment from essentially any railroad that
interchanged with the rest of the North American rail
net.

I think there is a lot more variety in structure
modeling possible too, some of those Colo. NG
buildings fit right in as older buildings elsewhere,
but try to fit Pine Canyon Donut shop into your 19th
century narrow gauge line!
