Hi All,
Arden has hit on something that I have been saying for a while. I
think the real problem is when you get cars of different weights. I
want all my cars to weigh about the same. None of this adding more
weight for more length. Of course passenger cars could weigh a
different amount than freight cars because they will not be mixed to
a great extant. The prototype knows this. Most railcars have about
the same loaded weight. The other two reasons the prototype can move
railcars with little trouble is their enormous radius curves and
generally slight grades.
