All,
I appreciate the references to HO rollingstock, as it helps to put everything
in perspective. I am also grateful to tall the fine gentleman who have helped
me on and off list (which includes DK and EL). I realized I will have to
relocate my modeling interest to the NYC's pennsylvania division, because:
1. The N&W (60s) is not well represented in S
2. It would nearly be impossible for me to scratchbuild the HUGE tankers that
were on the Southern Sub in the 60s
This all means that I can model the NYC's joint branch with the PRR. Of course
i will replace the PRR (i dont care for it at all) with my freelanced road
which should allow me use to more S scale rollingstock.
2 years is how much time I have left until I start college upon which I doubt I
will have enough time for "proper" modeling.
What shops have the Gray F-3s?? Since I model the 60s i can use any f7/f3 and
paint it entirely black and use cigar band decals.
Finally, my range of usable diesels has increased to:
Trainmasters,GP-35s,F units,GP-7s,H16-44s,SD-45s, RS-3s,SW-9s (C&I (which was
interchanged with) used SW-9s as road locomotives).

P.S. Do SHS or AM diesels have prototype specific separately applied details?
