I can understand that, Carey... and I tend to agree, because I've been trying
to at least 3 YEARS to get in the ACSG group... which appears to be either
DEAD... or the owner is... and I've never gotten a reply. So I do sympathise
in this category.

But... is it possible that the group owner is trying not to hurt any feelings
by a blunt declining of membership?

HOWEVER, I have been asked to no longer defend the group or it's ways, so I
hearby leave this topic, effectively NOW.

Actually John it isn't the limited membership that is annoying but the
total arrogance of being too good to acknowledge a request to join. An
acceptance or a simple go to he** would be find but just ignoring the
request tells me a lot about whoever is in charge.

After too many years with the Boston Brahmans and the NY Effete Elite
I'll take my tell it as it is redneck neighbors now over those phoneys
  any day.
