FYI, Ed (and everyone), the SSPM does NOT "claim to be" a public group. It is
NOT a public group, which explains why it cannot be located using the Yahoo
group search feature. I already have stated this fact before. Therefore, this
group is not being run poorly... it is sticking to it's guns (regardless of all
the negative banter about how it is run). I don't hear all you folks raising
cane about the Sn42_Conspiracy_Group which is run basicall the same way! So
what gives? Is this just the latest flogging horse?!?

Had I not posted about the existence of the SSPM group (not realizing when I
did that it was mean to be a private group), all you folks would still not know
of it's existence... so what, then, would everyone now be bemoaning instead?
Oh, I know... it would be the operational rules of the second of TWO private
groups that I know of. Yes, Virginia... there IS yet another, PRIVATE group
that cannot be found using the Yahoo group search feature... one that I have
been asked by its creator NOT to publicise. I'd LOVE to be able to reveal the
name of this group because it is tailor made (even in name) for those who are
now making such a fuss over the operation of the SSPM.
And as another FYI to set the FACTS (as opposed to speculative opinions) out
for review... there was NO "pride" of any kind in ANY of the posts I've made in
an effort to explain to everyone some of the various, POSSIBLE reasons why
their applications may not be getting answered soon enough to satisfy them (as
if the groups membership policy should be amended to satisfy each person's
personal preferences). If I'm gonna be judges so harshly for trying to offer
some suggestions, then let your gavels fall... then dismiss your courts. I can
take it... AND dish it right back out.
And I am most definitely NOT ashamed of myself for abiding by the guidelines of
ANY group I am a member of... regardless of whether anyone else likes those
rules. So lets do without the infantile, personal remarks.

Any group that claims to be public, lets people request membership, and
leaves them hanging for months without a word of explanation, is run very
poorly indeed. A member who knows this type of thing is going on and defends it
should be ashamed of himself. There's nothing to be proud of. If they are so
exclusive, it should be by invitation, not public.
