Comment:

 Ok - now this needs review!

 I looked at the cygwin-lapack_lite-setup.py patch. The file patched hasn't
 changed between numpy-1.3.x and 1.4.1, so it can still be applied safely
 if needed.

 In summary the only problems overall are:
 * numpy 1.4.1 is broken on linux ppc (on the official list of supported OS
 - so bad) and alpha (not on the supported list - so OK).
 * numpy-1.5.0 has an issues with cython that will be solved in 1.5.1 -
 shame because it also fixes linux ppc and alpha.

 Anything to add?
