This is a well known issue.
IE sucks, unfortunately.
The solution is to embed the video in HTML, which is a bit of a pain in
the behind, and can mess up syndication if you use FeedBurner.
So here's the real solution... its a code generator that I built that
creates links to launch the video in a
Email subscriptions:
Feedblitz does this.
It's now partnered with Feedburner, so if you are using Feedburner just
go to "Publicize" and click on "Email subscriptions".
Otherwise go directly to http://www.feedblitz.com/
I haven't used it. Don't know anything about it other than it must work
Also, I believe your video has to be in H.323 or mpeg4. Mine's in
mpeg1, which more people (in theory) can play, but not so hip. Or
compressed. Alas.

listed in Mefeedia too. We turn all videos into a MediaRSS feed which
is the ONLY way to get into Yahoo video search through RSS (and we add
thumbs too). (Regular RSS doesn't work, I just heard this on a

I got my video iPod today, HOORAY! Just watched some Rocketboom and
some Tiki Bar TV and some Human Dog. It looks pretty amazing on my
21" TV as well. The only problem is MY videos. I have been saving my
last couple vids with H.264 in anticipation of the new iPod but they
won't play on it.
