I suggested a while back a feature that would let you download entire YouTube channels without the need to search for individual videos to download them. Is this feature added yet, or is it something that is possible? This is the one reason I still use Ponty's Media Downloader, for the purpose of download entire channels. I know I sound crazy, but I just like having entire youTube channels downloaded on my computer, especially if I want to go back and listen to specific videos without having to deal with advertisements as I don't feel getting YouTube premium is worth it, and I like the YouTube interface better on my phone. Re: problem with virtual recorder So I have used at least three or four audio recording programs mainly for recording both my microphone and stereo mix at the same time without having to have a mixer. The first one I used was sound tap audio recorder by NCH software, But the problem that I had with that is that if it detect silence of any sort it will stop the recording. The same also happened with virtual audio recorder. Then I started using free PC audio recorder which is actually a pretty good piece of software, though I’m not sure that that one is being updated anymore either. Now I am using open broadcaster which is probably the best one I have used so far. Being somewhat of a regular audio memos user myself, I am glad to hear that the app will still be updated in the future. I say somewhat of a regular user because Just Press Record is now my main recording app, both because of stereo recording and because of slightly better accessibility. Just Press Record is really a great app. I particularly like the recording transcription feature, though it's not great as it uses apple's dictation software which certainly has its problems.I'm going to ask a question I asked here a while ago, but did not get a response. There is a feature supposedly in audio members that is something like "Control on Lock Screen." I cannot get this to work properly. What I want to be able to do is to control recordings even when I am not in the app. I currently cannot do this unless I am inside of the app. The same thing applies to Just Press REcord. I would love the ability to control it when not inside of the app.Even though I mainly use Just Press Record, there are some things I really like about Audio Memos. One of those is the bookmark capibilities. From what I can tell, Just Press Record does not yet have this. Audio Memos allows yoiu to set markers when you are playing recordings and come back to that spot later. This may also work when you are recording. I did own A book port plus a while because my blind school Lent one to me to use for my textbooks. The one thing I will say about the book port is that I feel like it had much better recording quality than the stream does, and that was using the internal microphone. i’m still surprised at how crappy the recording quality is on the stream, especially since it is marketed as a multi use device. I don't think I would have boughten it had a key not broken on my laptop. The up arrow key has been missing for quite a while, and i'm going to get it fixed on Tuesday. I had to come home from school and left my other bluetooth keyboard, so I urgently needed a bluetooth keyboard. I can still press the up arrow key on my laptop, but both the key and the rubber part under it are missing, so it is extremely hard to press now and sometimes it will press down for no reason and go crazy. I would put the key back on myself, but I lost both the key and the rubber part, so I can't just stick it back on. I'm going to get it fixed Tuesday though so that's good. The other is the Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard which I got only a few weeks ago. I really like it so far actually. Re: the IPhone 12 line I have my 11 pro that I got last christmas with 256 gigs of storage, and I don't plan on buying any of the 12 mottles. They just don't have anything that grabs me about them, and i'm even more convinced after listening to Jonathan Mosen's overview of it. Supposedly, the iPhone 12 mottles are supposed to have 5G capabilities, but 5G from what i've heard is so unreliable right now and in very early stages. I also have an iPhone 6S for backup purposes, but I probably should consider upgrading that to at least an Se mottle soon, because IOS 14 is likely the last IOS version that the Iphone 6S will support. I haven't experienced any of the lag issues some people are talking about, maybe it's with older phones. My 6S does lag very slightly more than my 11 pro, which is fast as heck. problem with youtube app on iPhone hi all.I have been noticing this problem with the youtube app for quite a while now, and it is really starting to irritate me, and it's one of the reasons I hate using youtube on my phone. But, if there is a way around this issue, I would like to know.I have been noticing that if a channel has a whole bunch of videos, say dating back to several years ago, as i am scrolling through videos on a channel, after a certain point, no more appear. I have tried moving to the next page with the voiceover gesture, but after a certain point it just stops working. I have gone to the channel, and clicked on the videos tab. This one channel I was viewing has videos dating back to 2013 or so, but it stops displaying videos after I go back a good 8 or 9 months. If I use youtube on my pc, this does not happen.Any help would be appreciated. The reason I say this is that I attended their presentation that they put together for the NFB convention. Supposedly, the reason that the treck does not yet have fm radio support is because they were working with a 3rd party company to get this done, and they have lost contact with the company. Didn't download it completely because my internet was taking forever to download it, but I at least see how it works now. yeah, the website interface is crappy. There was really no way to tell that the file was actually download other than looking at my title bar constantly. I tried download something else from that sight, a much smaller file, just so I could see how it works.One drive is good, though I think google drive is the best where storage is concerned. Not sure I quite like it's interface though, but it's useable, much better than mega. I have the 2 tb plan for $99 a year, which is a good price considering what you get. adding ring tones to Iphone with iTunes Hi everyone.So, I have a ring tone which I want to transfer to my Iphone. This is a tone which I recorded myself. I have made sure it is in the .m4r format by first having iTunes create an aac version and then renaming the .m4a file to .m4r. I did some internet searching and was told that I needed to have a tones folder in my Itunes media folder. One was not there, so I created one and put the .m4r file in the tones folder. Then, I read that I needed to add the tones folder to my library so that I could then get to the tones section of my library. However, upon doing this, I still cannot access the tones section of my iTunes library. Can anyone tell me the process to go through to get tones on my phone? Is there simply an easier way of doing this that does not involve iTunes? I am not interested in jail breaking, so that is out of the question. I did notice that the file was 32 seconds in length, and I heard that ring tones can only be 30 seconds in length. Could this be the problem? adding ring tones to Iphone with iTunes Hi everyone.So, I have a ring tone which I want to transfer to my Iphone. This is a tone which I recorded myself. I have made sure it is in the .m4r format by first having iTunes create an aac version and then renaming the .m4a file to .m4r. I did some internet searching and was told that I needed to have a tones folder in my Itunes media folder. One was not there, so I created one and put the .m43 file in the tones folder. Then, I read that I needed to add the tones folder to my library so that I could then get to the tones section of my library. However, upon doing this, I still cannot access the tones section of my iTunes library. Can anyone tell me the process to go through to get tones on my phone? Is there simply an easier way of doing this that does not involve iTunes? I am not interested in jail breaking, so that is out of the question. Thanks. I've owned all 3 streams, the first gen, second gen, and the treck. THe first gen I don't have anymore, but i have both the treck and the second gen still. To everyone else, I strongly encourage you to think about what jade said. He specificly said that he wasn't going to give Gryfindore a warning, because while he mentioned the audiovault, he did not post a link to it, which would have been worthy of a warning. My stance on this issue is, and will always be, if you can't pay for something for whatever reason, ask someone if they are willing to pay for it for you. ponty's media downloader problem
ponty's media downloader problem hi everyone.I am having a problem with Ponty's media downloader. As far as I know, you can still download whole Youtube channels at once. However, I am having a problem doing so. Whenever I paste the URL into the URL box and hit download playlist, it crashes after a little while of downloading. I have tried updating the download engine as well as uninstalling the program. The only way I can get this to work is by downloading individual videos, which would take forever for this particular channel. problem installing windows 10 build 1903 hi guys.Upon attempting to update windows 10 to the latest version, (build 1903), I received the message that the following things need your atention. I clicked on more information and a website opened and gave me the following information. If you are trying to update to the Windows 10 May 2019 Feature Update (Windows 10, version 1903), you may encounter an update compatibility hold and receive the message, "Intel Rapid Storage Technology (Intel RST): The inbox storage driver iastora.sys doesn’t work on these systems and causes stability problems on Windows. Check with your software/driver provider for an updated version that runs on this version of Windows."I attempted to go to the intel website and download the latest driver versions. When I downloaded what looked like the driver and installed it, I still get the same message. Can anyone give me any help with this? This is very irritating and I just want to get this installed. recording 2 audio sources without listening to myself, it is possible? hi guys.So I am finding it slightly distracting to have to listen to myself whenever I record my imocrphone and system audio at the same time. I think I actually did eat those, even though the dentist told me I really shouldn't. They can hurt when you first get them on though. Ive heard the first book by Fry, and Dale is just better for me. I don't like how Fry pauses in places, and he just reads too slow for my liking. However, I do agree with Jade about the fact that Jim Dale does say Haryyy and I have no idea why he does this. I love his singing of some of the songs in the book though. Fry doesn't do this, at least he didn't in the first book, he just says them. A lot of people are probably going to hate me for this, because I have talked to a lot of people who don't like this narrator, but I really like Eric Sandvold. Not his Harry Potter books narration, those are just better read by a british person, and he doesn't really do them justice, but he does a really good jub with everything else he reads. I don't feel like he gets talked about enough, so i'm bringing him up here. laptop battery not charging?
laptop battery not charging? hi all.SO I am having a strange issue with my laptop.My battery never charges to full anymore. It will stop around 90 percent and just say not charging in the system tray. I am using windows 10 with the latest update. My battery doesn't seem to be going bad, because the battery life hasn't really gotten worse. I have heard that this was a known issue in earlyer versions of windows 10, but I would have thought it was fixed by now. Has anyone had this problem, and if so could you advise me on how to fix it? My battery is built in so I can't exactly get a new one. Re: problem with the qube thanks for your post. Oops, looks like I got that wrong lol.I did actually fix it. I had to do some weird stuff. First, I tried installing like 0.9.1 which was the latest version. It wouldn't retrieve an access token which it needs to communicate with twitter. This happend after I uninstalled and reinstalled the qube, because I thought that would fix my issue with the tweets. So then I decided to install 0.9 which was the next to nenewist version. It then worked and retrieved the access token for me. Then I reupgraded my version back to 0.9.1 and it seems to be working now. I'm not sure if that was just an update patch or something that I installed, which might explain why it wasn't working properly. But now it's working at least. problem with the qube hi.SI I downloaded the new update of the qube twitter client for windows. However, I am having a problem.Apparently, it supports 240 character tweets now, but it is still only letting me enter 140 character tweets. Does anyone know why this is? It is with a heavy heart that I report this sad and unfortunate news.I just recieved word via my twitter that chris scarstead, also known as tune head, has passed away. virtual recorder help needed.
virtual recorder help needed. hello.For the past few months I have been using virtual recorder. However, I am haing some issues that have made me stop using the program, at least until I can figure out what's going on.Whenever I make a recording, I have noticed that my computer audio is extremely loud, to the point where it sounds distorted. I have tried adjusting the volume sliders in the program, but nothing seems to work. I am using a wireless headset as my microphone, as well as recording directly from my computer. I would really like to get this issue resolved, as this sounds like a really good program for recording both through your computer and a microphone. Any help would be appreciated.Thanks. Re: New tts voices available after hearing john when I downloaded him, I have to say i'm not extremely impressed with the voice, not as impressed as I thought i'd be. I really don't like how he pronounces some things, and I don't like the fact that you have to hear background music every single time you do something. I really wish there was just a 30 day trial or something.Also, it appears to have really messed up nvda, to the point where I am having to reinstall it. But when I do it gives me an error that says cannot find the inotics reader or something. I've tried reverting to the default configuration, but it's still not working. If they did a 30 day trial I think i'd feel better about this. Re: New tts voices available I don't know what to think of this. While I really like the voices, I find the website irritating to navigate. When I finally found the right download link, I downloaded the john demo with that reader thing you have to use. However, I have no idea what to do. I launch the program and it keeps asking me for an activation code. I see no where to run it as a demo or anything. It sounds like from the manual that this demo can't be ran with any background things like music or anything. I really wish they could do a 30 day trail like the vocalizer voices for sapi5. If there are bugs, they generaly get fixed within 2 or 3 updates, that's what the accessibility testing team at apple is for, and that's what the feedback ap is for. And no, the nfb didn't need to step in and sue apple because it didn't have accessibility built into their products, because I have heard from many people that voice over was already in the mac prior to that, and also that apple had voice over on their phones the very next day. I hardly notice any bugs, and I use my phone on a daley bases. Even if there are bugs, I'm optimistic that they will get fixed, and that doesn't make my phone unusable. At least it has accessibility features and works for me. Often, when something changes, whether it be with technology or any other issue, people are not willing to accept change. I believe that the world is ever-changing, and even though something works for us, it may not work for another individual. Thus, we cannot always get what we want in life. But when change comes, we need to be ready and willing to accept it. Yes, something might work for you, you may not see why this aspect of the hardware/software needs to be changed, but other people might. Maybe this change was for the better. Maybe more good will come out of it than we are letting on. We can't always get what we want in life. I've learned that through many trials. But I just live on, and figure out other ways to cope with the issue. If I wanted to use wired headphones with my phone, which is not likely, I would pay the 40 dollars to get the doc. Either tha t or I would use the adapter that is included in the box. While I am perfectly content with this change, I think that it was a good thing that apple included this adapter in the box for people that still want to use 3.5 mil headphones. They could have not included it, but they did. To be quite honest, I hardly ever use the 3.5 mil jack on my phone, so this makes no difference to me whatsoever. I could care less what apple did with the jack. As a matter of fact, I think these 3.5 mil things are just old technology. Technology is ever-changing, and we need to except that. We can't stop change, and we can't always get what we want in life, but that's no reason, in my opinion, to stop supporting apple, or their excellent accessibility standerds. It is thanks to them that I have a phone that is accessible, and I am not going to stop supporting them. I will get the new phone as soon as I can, and when something breaks, I am going to willingly pay the money for a replacement.I have also heard people say that they don't like this change because if their phone goes dead and they are using those headphones, there is no way to plug the ch arger in, because the lightning port is being used for those headphones. I repeat, this does not matter to me. Even if I did use those headphones, I will make sure my phone is charged before I do anything with them. I'm seriously scared that people are going to stop buying and/or stop supporting apple over a simple little issue like this, and I am very irritated, because I want to see the Iphones continue. I am confident that apple will continue to build accessibility into their products, because they have not let me down yet.I now close my post by asking this question. If it wasn't for apple, where would we be today? I urge all of you to think about this before we criticize apple on this issue. What is more important to you? Each time, I have had to use software to get rid of it. But every time I do, it seems to come back a few months later, and each time it's harder and harder to get rid of. I could do a system restore, but i'm not sure that'll help, as I think I did it before when I had this issue. @cw: all my virus scanning programs seem to be up to date and working properly, so i'm not sure what the issue is. Setting popup blocker settings to their highest doesn't seem to work either. It just insists that I get redirected to those odd websites.It was this website that I visited when the issue occurred, but I really don't think this website had a virus, rather that it was simply in my browser waiting to activate again.I know that these me ssages about calling a phone number to be guided through the removal of the virus are scams, and I've heard that they will try to steal money from you. I don't even think those are Microsoft hotlines.On a related note, do you guys know how to uninstall avast? Last time I had this issue, I had to use avast to get rid of it, but now avast is being very annoying and insisting that half my games and programs are viruses and deleting their shortcuts so they will stop working. urgent internet help needed Hi.Over the past few days, I have had a very serious problem with my internet on my windows 7 machine.Whenever I try to visit websites, internet explorer, google crome, or firefox will redirect me to websites that say your computer has a virus, please call this number, your MacAfee subscription has expired, your hard drive will be deleted in 5 minutes if you close this page, etc etc etc. I have tried every means that I can think of to get rid of these messages, including scanning my computer for threats using 4 or 5 different virus scanning programs with no results. I am beginning to think that I will have to reformat my hard drive or something. It's a good thing I have this computer that I am writing this message on right now, because the other one will not let me visit any websites, with the exception of a few like google.Does anyone have any suggestions to deal with this issue?
