Reviews analysts’ test cases to ensure appropriate coverage, identifies and remedies gaps in test coverage. • Assists less experienced analysts with complex problems regarding testing approaches, application knowledge, and technical knowledge. Coaches less experienced testers in writing of test cases. Lead test case reviews for both internal and external team members. • Supports User Acceptance Test efforts; coordinates with business analysts and users to secure resources, outline testing plan, and manage test effort thru signoff. • Responsible for setup of the QA test environment planning for each project (including test data, hardware, software, network configuration, etc.). • Develop and provide testing metrics and reports for the QA dashboard to effectively communicate test status to the test team and management. • Troubleshoots and resolves or recommends solutions to a diverse range of complex software testing problems. Uses judgment within defined policies and practices (includes software and technical documentation solutions). *Job Requirements:* • At least 5-7 years of experience as a Lead Quality Assurance Analyst on medium to large projects • Strong understanding of all aspects of the software development life cycle. Requires excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and problem solving skills; effective analytical skills to identify specific contingencies that need to be tested; detail-oriented; ability to accurately estimate testing projects. • Strong understanding and experience using industry standards, principles, theories and concepts involving quality testing. Identifies process gaps and is able to write procedures in line with best practices. • Ability to logically and systematically analyze and solve software problems. Ability to express technical concepts and procedures clearly, precisely, and in easy to understand information, verbally and in writing; good interpersonal/customer relations skills. Efficient in the use of business software applications required to fulfill the functions of this position. • Ability to learn and then train others on new applications; experience with database validation, services or API testing,and SaaS partner applications. • Retail experience (especially POS) preferred • B.S.
