[JAWS-Users] activate a mouse over link
List, I am trying to use the Morningstar investment web site. I have noticed to do certain things, I have to activate a mouse over link which will then bring up a list of actions in a list that will enable me to either edit, delete, add holdings to the portfolio etc. Jaws says mouse over but when I do a insert F1, jaws says it is a link and enter on it to activate the link. My sighted wife can activate this type of link by moving the mouse to the link and be given the various options. When I try and enter on the link with the PC cursor, or route the jaws cursor to the link and replicate a click on the link, nothing happens. Is there some sort of special jaws command I am missing. Re: [JAWS-Users] activate a mouse over link
Robin, Thank you so very much. The secret here was to use the Insertplus control and enter combination to replicate the application cursor going over the link to produce the mouse over and bring up the desired list of actions. This was the result: OnMouseOvers Web page authors use OnMouseOvers to display text or images when a visitor moves the mouse pointer over a particular part of the page. The Freedom Scientific Product Overview sample page provides an example of a way in which OnMouseOvers are often used. On this page, when a user moves the mouse pointer over one of the product names, which are actually graphic links, the page displays a brief summary of the product. When the user clicks the graphic, the page takes them to the Freedom Scientific Web site to provide additional resources. NOTE: Two different things happen here depending on whether you simply move the mouse cursor over the graphic or actually activate the link. JAWS says, OnMouseOver when you move to an element with an OnMouseOver. OnMouseOver is an attribute that Web page authors add to HTML elements to enable OnMouseOver functionality. Open the Freedom Scientific Product Overview sample page. Read through the page first. It is relatively short. Notice that after the first heading, there are four OnMouseOver links which JAWS identifies. Continue reading and you will hear a brief bit of text that begins This page is designed to demonstrate the use of the OnMouseOver attribute. When a mouse user moves the pointer over the image links ... Go ahead and read through this text. When you activate an OnMouseOver in the next series of steps, this text will change on the screen. Activating an OnMouseOver with JAWS actually moves the mouse cursor over the graphic for you. You do this by pressing INSERT+CTRL+ENTER when you hear JAWS announce OnMouseOver links. To see how JAWS interacts with OnMouseOvers on Web pages, do the following: Go to the Freedom Scientific Product Overview sample page and press DOWN ARROW until you move to the one of the graphic links with an OnMouseOver. Press INSERT+CTRL+ENTER to activate the OnMouseOver for that link. JAWS announces that the page has changed at a certain line. On the screen, the brief descriptive text that summarized how to use the page with a mouse is replaced by text that describes the product. Press J, type the line number JAWS spoke, and press ENTER. JAWS moves you directly to the place on the page where the new text is displayed. Using the Jump To Line command (J) in this manner allows you to read new information that appears on the page when you activate an OnMouseOver. Take a moment to read through the new text. Press SHIFT+J to move back to the graphic link. Holding down SHIFT when using the Jump To Line command moves you back to your previous location on the page. Press ENTER to activate the link. This takes you to the Freedom Scientific Web site. You can press BACKSPACE to return to the previous page. Try moving to the other OnMouseOver links and following these same steps for more practice. JAWS Tip: Notice how pressing ENTER and pressing INSERT+CTRL+ENTER can produce very different results with some Web page elements. Pressing INSERT+CTRL+ENTER simulates the effect of moving the mouse pointer over the element, while pressing ENTER simulates the effect of clicking the element. [JAWS-Users] unidentified imbedded link in a word Zoom in IE, and can I see everything.
Dan, do not know about the zoom resolution issue, but as to the other issue of some pages having links imbedded in words that do not say link, I have come across this most recently on the new delta.com web page for Delta Airlines. I am not enough of a techie to understand why or how this happens and jaws not alert you to the matter, but it happens. So when in doubt these days, just enter on a word that seems to be for what you want. I look forward to a post by someone who can help us resolve this unidentified imbedded links issue. Maybe I am missing something. Here is an interesting little issue I've recently stumbled across. I wonder if I've been missing a lot of stuff over the years. I was attempting to do some work via a web site. My coworkers told me to click on some link. No matter what, I could not find that link anywhere on the page. I had a sighted coworker take a look at my screen and they confirmed the link was not there. They showed me the section where it should be but I only saw about four links in that section, and they had maybe 8. I went to view, then zoom, and I moved it from 100% to 75% and suddenly more links appeared in that section. I moved it from 75% to 50% and suddenly, all the links, including the one I was trying to find, appeared. Now, should I always keep my zoom setting to the minimum? How do I even know when I am not seeing everything that should be there? As another little issue, seems like in HTML 5, objects that are clickable do not announce as being such. So, sometimes I am struggling to figure out how to find some piece of information, only to have a coworker to tell me to click on something that just appears as a piece of text to me. It doesn't say, link, doesn't say mouse-over, nothing, it is just text. Am I supposed to click on every word on a page now? -- Blue skies. Re: [JAWS-Users] Blue screen and FS mirror driver
Flor, This happens when I am just booting up the computer. Then the computer gives me a message to the effect that if you have not seen this message before, turn off the computer and restart the computer. I can do this using the on/off button. Jaws is not talking when this happens. The message also gives you steps to be taken if you have seen this message before or had this happen before. I have not gone through this door Number 2 yet as it will require sighted assistance I suspect. When the computer is attempting to repair itself, you are asked if you want to use the restore feature and I have this selected by a sighted person. Again, this may not happen but every two or three weeks and after the restore is completed, things work just fine until two or three weeks later. Today I went into the start menu and unchecked everything except Jaws so that the computer has less things to start during boot up. [JAWS-Users] adding hot key to Controlling The Volume
I agree, what a nice solution to be able to quickly access the controls to change volume. I have also made a hot key so that if I do a control key plus alt key and letter V, I am in the dialogue box where I can page up or page down to raise volume on the fly. Or I can tab to jaws or internet explorer and change those volumes independently. This is handy for me as I listen to Serious radio on my laptop and listen to business programs in the background and sometimes want to quickly raise or lower the volume for either just internet explorer or jaws. So you guessed it, I like many others, try and multi task. I really like the great solutions the list shares. [JAWS-Users] resources for your child-Re: Most commonly used programs
Ruchi , The jaws help system lists programs that work with Jaws as well as tips on using the program. Go into the jaws interface (insert key plus letter j). The press alt key plus h for help and explore the various training materials in this menu. In addition, I would talk to your child's vision teacher and see if that person has assistive technology resources that you can meet with as needed. Also, your state may have a state department that deals with instructional materials for children with a disability. And finally, there are qualified blind teachers/trainers out there that offer on line training that you can talk to the vision teacher/special education director about and try and get the school system to fund such training. No doubt sighted kids are being trained how to use various programs, and if the school does not have the resource to teach your child, then ask why the school cannot provide your child with the needed resources. [JAWS-Users] Help from this list-RE: resources for your child-Re: Most commonly used programs
Ruchi For starters, you might try the Freedom Scientific web site and look at paid and free web based tutorials dealing with a range of programs and capabilities like using the script utility which might enable you to do some script writing for your son. Here is the direct link: http://www.freedomscientific.com/training/Paid-Webinars.asp I also understand that there is a list serve for screen reader users and script writing. May be that someone on the list will share that info with you. I suspect that some folks on this list who are trainers might be a resource as well in the event you solicit input from this list for possible on line web training options for you and your son. Also, some of the international users on this list might also be able to chime in with any other ideas as I know in the UK there are some excellent training being done in that country by the Royal National Institute for the Blind. And now that you have advised us that you live in India, some other users on this list from India might be able to steer you in other directions. Also, there are a number of lists around that you might come across that others might steer you in the direction of for training and other resources. Your son is very fortunate to have you as an advocate and to ensure that he has the technology. I applaud you and hope others on this list can chime in with any other specific suggestions. I am now retired from the assistive technology arena and rehab services, and so not as up to date with international options. If I can think of anything else, I will certainly let you know. Also, will check the jaws interface for software that are compatible with jaws. But I also notice that scripts get written to make more and more products available to the blind- are there any ready reckoner guides for the same. I live in India, and Assistive technology experts are not too many here. There are a few but with not all the tools. In fact, since my son is not using Braille yet, the challenge becomes a little bigger. Most other kids here use Braille instructional materials. I had been looking for word prediction software for him, but found none. In fact, the local language support here is too weak. I also tried to look for creative writing tools and mind mapping tools but nothing is available. Would you know of any resources. I will be only too overjoyed to find some online training resources. Re: [JAWS-Users] Trapeze Booking Software
Jerry, to follow up on your question, the usual test is reasonable accommodation and the reasonable accommodation to mitigate the problem. That said, logically, any company covered by federal and state law for making the work place accessible, when purchasing software and hardware should write into the purchase specifications that it must be accesseble. However, our federal government is probably one of the largest offenders of not purchasing software and hardware that is accessible. And the federal government is the responsibility of the President and Congress. As I noted, the only thing we can do is work with the prospective employer to see if scripts can be written to work around problems. And I think many employers are fully supportive of this to retain or get a good employee. Although assistive technology like Jaws has helped the blind, every time we turn around, something that was accessible is no longer accessible because of some change in software or hardware. And unfortunately, we all must master our access technology like Jaws because sometimes we can come up with solutions that are already within the capability of jaws. Good luck to all who are still of working age. And thanks to all who are working to make the promise of technology a reality. [JAWS-Users] Seeking solution to use inaccessible A.A.A. site with JFW13
Prateek, I am a AAA member and am able to log into my account and access travel guides, reservations etc. I am using latest build of Jaws 13, Windows 7 and IE 9. Below is the results of my doing a jaws key plus F1 to get jaws info and help on the web page you have provided as a link. John This page contains 5 links. There is 1 frame. The address of the current page is http://www.aaa.com/aaa/sem/sem.htm?redirectto=http://www.aaa.com/?area=JoinS EM2skin=JoinSEM This is an HTML or PDF document. You can use the standard JAWS reading commands or Navigation Quick Keys to navigate and read this document. JAWS can also display lists of certain elements on this page. For example, you can press INSERT+F7 for a list of links, INSERT+F6 for a list of headings, or INSERT+F5 for a list of form fields. In addition, if you hold down CTRL+INSERT while pressing a Navigation Quick Key, JAWS displays a list of all elements of that type on the page. By default, Auto Forms Mode is on. This means that when you navigate to an edit field, JAWS automatically turns on Forms Mode so that you can immediately type text in the edit field. Forms Mode will turn off when you exit the edit field. If you turn off the Auto Forms Mode option, using the Quick Settings dialog box (INSERT+V), you must now press ENTER to manually trigger Forms Mode before you can type in the edit field. Press ESC or NUMPAD PLUS to manually exit Forms Mode. You can create PlaceMarkers to help you bookmark important locations on the page for easy reference. Press CTRL+Windows+K to create a temporary PlaceMarker that you can return to by pressing the Navigation Quick Key K. To create a permanent PlaceMarker at your current location, press CTRL+SHIFT+K to open the PlaceMarker dialog. You can assign custom labels to almost any element on the page. To assign a custom label to a link, image, button, or other element on the page, move to it and press CTRL+INSERT+TAB. Alternatively, you can press INSERT+F2 and choose Custom Label. If a Web page supports a Web feed, JAWS will announce, RSS Feeds available. A Web feed is a way to subscribe to your favorite Web sites and receive updated content. This content can consist of headlines, articles, podcasts, summaries, and so on. Internet Explorer 7 or later constantly scans the Web pages that you visit to see if they support Web feeds. Re: [JAWS-Users] Trapeze Booking Software
Charlene, As a former assistive technology trainer in Florida and state VR director in Virginia, You might call Freedom Scientific and ask them that question. I would also contact the local state VR agency for their help in testing the software or help in making the software accessible if it is not. I also suspect that the local transit company receives federal funds and must make the job accessible to you, a possible employee. In my training consulting job, I have gone into possible employment sites with VR clients and been allowed to either get a copy of the software to try or put jaws on one of the business's computer to take the software for a test drive. I am not suggesting you need to make a lot of noise at this point in time, but pursue your own interest with the available resources including the screen reader vender and state resources. This is particularly true if you meet the qualifications for the job. You might also want to check with the company's that make other screen readers to see if there is any one of these that is accessible with the product. [JAWS-Users] outlook 2010 not automatically reading message after deleting previous message
List, I am running latest jaws 13, windows 7 and outlook 2010. When I open an E mail message, jaws automatically reads the message. But when I delete the message (using control key plus letter D) and another message opens, it does not read automatically. In quick settings, I have the check box checked for jaws to read messages when opened. Am I using the wrong type of delete key? Re: [JAWS-Users] outlook 2010 not automatically reading message after deleting previous message
Al, when the message is opened, the delete key alone or with the shift key do nothing. So the control key with letter D is the only thing that works to delete the message. If the message is not open, then as you note, the delete key or shift delete key work. I am using a laptop but do not think that makes a difference? Thanks for the prompt suggestion though. When in the list of a folder use Alt+F followed by Alt+T to move into the Outlook options. Use down arrow key in the list Alt+of options to move to the Mail options. Use shift+tab three times to get to the combo box that controls what Outlook does when you delete an open message. Use down arrow key until you get to the choice that tells Outlook to open the next item. Tab to the OK button and use spacebar. If your JAWS setting is set to read messages automatically, the next message in the list should open and JAWS should start reading it after you use CTRL+D in an open message to delete it. Take care. Re: [JAWS-Users] Using JAWS and buying a new computer
Kim, I just purchased a new laptop as I want something portable so I can travel with the computer. This time, I went more top end and bought 8 gigs of memory, an Intel I 5 2430 processor (quad processor with turbo boost) and a 7200 rpm hard drive. I am using office 2010 and windows 7 home premium. I wanted something that would not get bogged down when working with Word(a memory hog) and outlook and the internet. I can have numerous documents, web pages and excel all opened and no slowdown. I am a 22 year user of jaws and have never had a computer like this and after two months, have not locked it up. I agree with the one suggestion that you consider whether you need the ability to travel with the computer and if not, the desk top might be fine as they are usually cheaper for the same capability as a laptop. That said, I have another 15 inch laptop that I have 4 USB ports on and I plug a keyboard into the computer alone with a scanner and remote hard drive and printer so that it works like a desktop but I could pick it up and travel with it. This laptop however weighs 6 pounds versus 3 pounds for my newest laptop with a 13 inch screen. Good luck and have fun getting the right computer. If you take second best, you will not enjoy the experience. And I am the voice of experience talking about that aspect of the issue. The minimum requirements are for a core 2 duo processor with 3 gigs of ram 32 bit, or 4 gigs with 64 bit. I realize running jaws ups these requirements somewhat if I don't want to have lags and sluggishness. Can I get any suggestions for just how much processor speed and ram I should spring for? Should I just go all out and get as much power and memory as I can afford? Is anybody using JAWS with a solid state drive, and what's the performance there like? Any configurations I should avoid? Go to the Freedom scientific web site and go to the link for the training page. On this page you can see a list of free tutorials including one on using office 2010 as well as other paid tutorials ($29) each. I just completed the 4 1/2 hour class on using outlook 2010 which was given in three 1 1/2 hour on line webinar classes. But you can also just download the classes and use them at your own convenience. The training materials includes text material as well as the actual class. Good luck. Re: [JAWS-Users] researchit again
Dan, research it might not be for you. On the otherhand, there is a lot of convenient ways to get specific info at your finger tip. So in the jaws help system under topics, there is a chapter on research it. Here is the first book from that topic in the event you want to pursue this further. John Research It For a quick overview, see Research It On the Fly mk:@MSITStore:C:\Program%20Files\Freedom%20Scientific\JAWS\13.0\Help\enu\jf w.CHM::/customizing_jaws_for_windows/Research_It/Research_It.htm#OnTheFly , or continue reading the following introduction. Research It is a versatile tool that provides quick access to data while also making it easy to return to your primary task. It uses what is known as a lookup source and the Results Viewer to find information, whether it is the meaning of a word, your local weather forecast, top news stories, sports scores, directions to and information about a local business, and more. Using just a few keystrokes, you can launch Research It from any application on your computer. The following describes keystrokes, available lookup sources, and various ways to launch and use Research It. * Keystrokes mk:@MSITStore:C:\Program%20Files\Freedom%20Scientific\JAWS\13.0\Help\enu\jf w.CHM::/customizing_jaws_for_windows/Research_It/Research_It.htm#Keystrokes * Lookup Sources mk:@MSITStore:C:\Program%20Files\Freedom%20Scientific\JAWS\13.0\Help\enu\jf w.CHM::/customizing_jaws_for_windows/Research_It/Research_It.htm#Sources * Examples Showing How to Use Research It mk:@MSITStore:C:\Program%20Files\Freedom%20Scientific\JAWS\13.0\Help\enu\jf w.CHM::/customizing_jaws_for_windows/Research_It/Research_It.htm#ResearchItE xamples * Changing the Default Lookup Source mk:@MSITStore:C:\Program%20Files\Freedom%20Scientific\JAWS\13.0\Help\enu\jf w.CHM::/customizing_jaws_for_windows/Research_It/Research_It.htm#Default * Removing or Adding a Lookup Source mk:@MSITStore:C:\Program%20Files\Freedom%20Scientific\JAWS\13.0\Help\enu\jf w.CHM::/customizing_jaws_for_windows/Research_It/Research_It.htm#RemoveAdd * Troubleshooting mk:@MSITStore:C:\Program%20Files\Freedom%20Scientific\JAWS\13.0\Help\enu\jf w.CHM::/customizing_jaws_for_windows/Research_It/Research_It.htm#Troubleshoo ting Research It On the Fly To quickly lookup an item of interest using Research It, do the following: 1. Press INSERT+SPACEBAR, R. The Research It dialog box appears with focus in the Word or Phrase edit combo box. 2. Do one of the following: * Type a word, phrase, date, tracking number, or other item into the edit combo box, press TAB, and then select a lookup source from the list. * Select an item from the edit combo box history list, press TAB, and then select a lookup source from the list. * Press TAB to jump directly to the Lookup Source list, and then select a lookup source. (This option is useful when using a news lookup source.) 3. Press ENTER. After a few seconds, the JAWS Results Viewer window opens and displays the search results. Note: For specific examples describing how to enter search parameters, refer to Research It Examples mk:@MSITStore:C:\Program%20Files\Freedom%20Scientific\JAWS\13.0\Help\enu\jf w.CHM::/customizing_jaws_for_windows/Research_It/Research_It.htm#ResearchItE xamples . Keystrokes The following briefly describes the available Research It keystrokes. Note that if JAWS is configured for Laptop Layout mode, substitute CAPS LOCK for the INSERT key. * INSERT+SPACEBAR, R: Opens the Research It dialog box, where you can then type a word or expression of interest, and then select a lookup source to perform your search. This can be a zip code, or city and state, or city and country that can be used with the Weather lookup tool to read a forecast, or a date that is used to view baseball or football schedules and scores, or a word to use with the Wikipedia search query to view its meaning or description. This convenient, layered keystroke provides the most efficient way to search for a term. Note: When using this keystroke, press and release INSERT+SPACEBAR, and then press R. * INSERT+WINDOWS Key+R: Launches Research It and uses the primary lookup source to directly show results in the Results Viewer. This keystroke bypasses the Research It dialog box. By default, Wiktionary is the primary lookup source. This means that while the cursor is on a word in a document or Web page, you can press this keystroke and quickly lookup the Wiktionary description for that word. You can always change the primary lookup source at any time using the Options button mk:@MSITStore:C:\Program%20Files\Freedom%20Scientific\JAWS\13.0\Help\enu\jf w.CHM::/customizing_jaws_for_windows/Research_It/Research_It.htm#Default or the JAWS Settings Center, which lets you select which lookup source to use as the JAWS default or as the default for individual applications. Re: [JAWS-Users] how do you do a video card and processor for new laptop
List, I am looking at sony laptops. In recent years, I have not opted for dedicated video cards, faster processors or hard drives. Just purchased units at local best buy etc that seemed to offer good value . This time I am considering buying direct and selecting components. I use jaws V12, and do not store video or pictures but do a lot with the internet, documents, spread sheets and outlook for E-mail. 1. Does jaws work better with a dedicated video card as it did years ago when that was the option of choice. 2. Do the intel processors with turbo boost improve the performance of jaws 3. Does moving to a faster hard drive improve the performance of jaws. 4. With windows 7 home premium, does paying up for 8 megs of ram warrant the additional cost of $$160 to go from 4 megs to 8 megs. Can purchase 2 megs of additional for $80? thank you for any input. John For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

Mark and all, I am a comcast.net customer and get norton included free. And as mark noted, you have to use the jaws cursor to help you make this all work for you.Norton, though not the most jaws user friendly, can work for you. Re: [JAWS-Users] Save v Save as
Rich, remember, when you select either save or save as, you are put into a dialogue box. within the dialogue box, you can tab through all the controls or fields that you can change before actually doing the save. Try it out and after you tab through and see choices, simply press the escape key and you are out of the dialogue box and nothing is changed. So this sort of lets you take a test drive from within this particular dialogue box. But when you are within the dialogue box, if you are not sure what you can do from within a control, use jaws help (jaws key plus F1 key) to let jaws give you some help about the control. You could have a bad power cord or it is not properly attached. Or the battery could be really old or damaged and needs to be replaced. thirdly, the computer has a problem charging and that is where the problem lies. So I would eliminate possible problems. I would suggest you see if the power cord is working. 1. shut down the computer. 2. take the battery out of the computer. 3. be sure your power cord is properly attached to the computer and the wall outlet and that this wall outlet works. also be sure any other connections in the power cord are attached. 4. turn on your computer now and if it boots up then you know your power cord is working and you have another problem. good luck. Re: [JAWS-Users] IE 8 and jaws 11 lockup?
Dale, Which version of MS windows are you using? I have minimal problems on my laptop running windows 7 and IE 8 versus the lockups with IE 8 and windows vista. I have not figured out what is happening when a lock up occurs but usually have just thought my fingers were going to fast and that locked up the computer. But if so, seems like the lock up problem would be similar on both systems. But again, many more problems with vista and IE8. I will probably upgrade the vista system as that computer is only 1 years old. In any event, I always try to avoid just turning the computer off as a remedy but rather try and get the system to shutdown normally. As to a remedy, if after numerous alt plus F4 commands I do not get speech to come back and or I try reloading the jaws program, I go to the shutdown command to let the system shutdown so I can reboot the system. No doubt you will have no speech doing this. On vista that command sequence is: 1. windows key plus letter M to minimize to the desk top. 2. windows key to bring up search dialogue box. 3. right arrow twice to get placed on the shutdown command and press enter. On windows 7 system. 1. windows key plus letter M to go to desktop. 2. windows key to bring up search box on the start menue. 3. right arrow only once and press enter to shutdown the computer. I sure think it is best when you lose speech after some sort of lock up to try and get the computer to shut down normally so you can reboot the system, especially on the windows vista computer. And of course you can always try the alt plus control alt keys and delete key to bring up the task manager which sometimes brings back speech. Very frequently I get a message that Internet Explorer has encountered an error on the Web page and will be shut down or that there is trouble with the page and it will be shut down. It will try to recover and sometimes it does but more frequently JAWS locks up and there isn't anything to solve it but to press the power button and restart the computer. I wonder if it is something to do with those security settings or something like that although I have no good reason beyond suspicion for that. Can I be the only one with this problem? Thanks. Re: [JAWS-Users] Free Area Code Search
I know this can be frustrating, but FS has told us that the research it facility is only as good as the web site that was intended to work with research it. So if research it is based on a independent web page and that web page changes, the research it search cannot work. as I said, it is frustrating to all of us when this happens. but for the other items still working, what a godsend. Re: [JAWS-Users] Accessing the toolbar
Jose, I do not know about this program but, I am assuming that this is not a program that Jaws has some scripts developed for. you can check this by using insert key plus letter Q to see if you hear jaws say default, then there are no jaws scripts. If jaws announces the name of the program, then that would mean jaws has some scripts it is using for the program and so you can check jaws help for the program and helpful hints or keyboard shortcuts. Usually if there is a tool bar, the jaws command insert key plus F8 might invoke a tool bar.But you may still be able to use the program using the jaws cursor to help you find out about the program and if there might be tool bars or a menue bar and short cut keys. I would use the jaws cursor and look around the top of the page to see if you have some tool bar or menue bar at the top of the page. You could try using the alt key to see if it brings up a menue bar so you can arrow around and see if there are some keyboard commands to invoke actions. You might find the programs help file and read it using the jaws cursor. Hope these ideas might help you try and figure this all out. good luck. -Original Message- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Jose Lomeli Sent: Sunday, August 15, 2010 12:37 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: [JAWS-Users] Accessing the toolbar Hello; Listers, Ok here is the deal. Re: [JAWS-Users] Accessing the toolbar
Jose, that is why I suggest you try using the jaws cursor to check around the top of the page to see if you might find some tool or menue bars. did you simply try using the alt key to see if it brings up a menue bar? Or insert F8 or just F8 key to see if it bring up a tool bar. good luck John - Original Message - From: Jose Lomeli joselomel...@lavabit.com To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Sunday, August 15, 2010 1:49 PM Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Accessing the toolbar This tool is for Microsoft Word!
