Re: [JAWS-Users] error message. Windows media player.
This is definitely way off topic for this list, so we should probably stop after this. Basically it's taking control of your phone and becoming the "superuser". You can delete things that your phone came with which you don't want around. You can even change the operating system if you want to. When you root your phone though, you are on your own; good luck getting any kind of tech support from your provider. However, it's worth doing, if, for example, you can't get rid of that pesky bloatware Metro PCS or AT&T put on your phone, or if you have an SD card and for some reason the apps you have downloaded refuse to allow themselves to be moved to it. It works with Android devices, but I don't know if you can do anything equivalent with an iPhone. -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of wayne smith Sent: January 28, 2018 4:35 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] error message. Re: [JAWS-Users] error message after logging in windows 10
Hi, I get that message a lot, and I just press the okay button and everything has always been fine. I notice that I don't get that message near as much on the latest up date of JAWS 17. Don't worry about it, after I press okay, I have never had any trouble. It might be interesting to give FS a Tweet, because they tweet you right back. [JAWS-Users] error message in outlook 2007 solved for now
Well I recreated the group distribution list under a new name and put back all the contacts, and I was able to send the message successfully. Not still sure what went wrong but at least it appears to be fixed for now. Thanks. For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
Re: [JAWS-Users] error message in outlook 2007
I am typing the group name in the "to" field. But, in reviewing the list of names I noticed some names and email addresses get repeated twice. For example, it will say and show flor jones f...@aol.com twice. Other names and addresses will show and be spoken only once. Why this happens I am not sure. I am going to delete the group and put the names back under a different group list name and see what happens. -Original Message- From: jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Flor Lynch Sent: Sunday, January 01, 2012 4:46 AM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] error message in outlook 2007 Could one of the addresses in your distribution group have a typographical error? Is it only on a certain search field? Please be more descriptive. I looked up my name and it would seem I must be in the witness protection program or something like that because it didn't find me. It found a lot of other guys with the same name so maybe I'm just another face in the crowd which is fine. If you can get narrator to come on. You might be able to read it, but if the sound card buffer is locked by jaws. then you will have to get someone with sight to read it. Only because the sound card will give no speech and may only give you a few keystrokes before locking up the system. Witch will cause a reboot to get it back speaking. You might try installing NVDA which sometimes works when JAWS stops speaking. http://www.nvda-project.org/ Also Narrator might work, but you'd have to use hotkeys to get either program going without speech. Hi, try downloading Skype again. When the Skype scripts are installed you should land back on the desktop, however since JAWS has focus querks you may have to do a Windows m to minimize all applications and focus on the desktop. Hope that helps.
