I think it reads the subject line first. I don't want to bash FS, but this feature has really gone down the drain. Look at all the one's that are in Jaws 11 and 12 that they won't fix? So, you need to pay an entire SMA to get simply research it fixed. Very disappointing. I respect that they need to make business, but something like research it shouldn't be too hard to rol back the updated Script file. I hope fs can get to the botttom of this. I don't have the same problem, but everytime either outlook 2010, or IE9 stops responding, Jaws will lock the keyboard, and also stop responding. The only fix is to shut down the computer. Even loading another screen doesn't help because Jaws will lock the keyboard. [JAWS-Users] jaws crashing with outlook 2010
Hello everyone, I hope I'm not the only one with this issue. If not, I hope that some of you report it also. FS Tech support tells me that they can't reproduce it and will not escalate it. At random times, outlook 2010 will stop responding. When this happends, jaws stops speeking and will not allow me to do anything. The only way to get things working again, I have to kill jaws using the dump command and reload. Sometimes, I even have to restart the system to get it Jaws working right. Has anyone had this issue? Steve, If you have java installed, press windows u. then tab to where it says use a computer without a display. Press enter. You should see a checkbox that says, enable access bridge. Sounds like youtube has lots of constently updateing frames. That may be a good site to create a flexible web rule to hide all frames. hello, The OCR feature in jaws 13 isn't like open book. it doesn't scann text from a sxanner. it will simply run the OCR from your screen such as inside an application like a PDf document. i would advice that you download the what's new in jaws 13. they explain this feature in great detail. if you are running the publick beta of 13 now, you will be able to download the what's new useing the check for updates option under the help menu. if not, please visit http://www.freedomscientific.com/fscast from there you can download the FS cast that describes what is new in jaws 13. hope this helps. no. the check for updates only works to update current versions, such as a new version of jaws 12. to update to a hole new version, you have to either install it from a DVD or download it from the website.
