Oh! Hadn't thought of that. Though that would also solve the issue of releases which have limited streaming tracks until purchased. Like I said, it's a wish list item if you ever have spare time on your hands :D If you do ever get to it though, please don't make the login/password a required setting for this plugin. As I stated on the previous release page, it's handy to be able change the username the plugin uses to someone elses. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Deezer and squeezelite
While I was testing new version of my plugins, I had issues with Deezer playlists where frequently (every ~10 tracks), when trying to stream the URL given by the Deezer plugin, a HTTP 400 Bad Request was responsed. I thought it was an issue with my plugin, but as I could not find why, I tried with the regular squeezelite version and had the same issue. Is this a know issue wiht Deezer and squeezelite? I got that one on dietpi when I didn't have libio-socket-ssl-perl installed. At least when I did install that pkg it was fixed. I tried again on my M1 CLiC, using BBC radio aac (a recorded program, not live) on version 3.0.0.5. The first two attempts failed, with the M1 crashing. The 3rd worked. Further attempts to move along the time also failed. Note that I have aac as the very 1st of my codecs (I don't recall why - it was quite some time ago that I set these up). To be clear, this is not important to me at the moment (I have a Touch alongside the M1 CLiC supplying the digital signal via coax), but if such testing is helpful I'm very happy to continue. But it might also be that you system is compiled for ARM64 bits and I don't have native 64 bits version. You'd need add the 32 to 64 bits compatibility libraries and that's probably too complicated to do that on a NAS LMS 7.7, 7.8 and 7.9 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2. If I have "This phone" selected as the playback device then I can clear the "next from" list by selecting the tracks and then Remove. If a squeezebox is selected then Remove is not an option. This is shown on the attached pics. Spot the difference. Only (small) issue so far is with synced players, where music simply doesn't start. I quickly searched through the thread and couldn't find any solution to that. Is there anything I can provide in order to help troubleshooting ? Check server.log (Settings/Information). There's a link to download the full file as a ZIP archive. Upload it here. Also, I see that the helper program is always started with "--bitrate 96" and wondered if this shouldn't match the configured quality (or if it is normal to have it always started with this low bitrate). That's one of the ugly parts of the hack to get Connect working... The daemon would "play" the stream to digital nirvana, LMS launches another helper for the actual playback on SB. You can set startup delay parameters per-player in LMS. Unsurprisingly it's only well calibrated out of the box for native hardware players and for everything else it's implementation dependent. Hi, First, thanks for this awesome app. Really appreciate the effort put in. I`ve installed version 1.3.3 from the windows store, and whilst its working fine as a standalone player, when its synced with my other players (2 radios, a duet, and a Transporter) the playback is quite badly out of sync. All other players (which are a mix of wired and wireless) are perfectly in sync. This issue shows up on local playback and also via spotty. Is this something that can be addressed on the client side with settings, or is it a bug? Give me a shout if I can supply logs or other diagnostics which would help. Update after upgrade to latest version. GGMM E5 works every time. GGMM M3 doesn't work at all - just like it didn't in previous version. (I have not been happy with this device. As well as impossible UPNP it is far too bassy). Revo SuperConnect - works on FLAC music but not on DASH/AAC streams but these streams play natively from player menu. This is exactly where I was with previous version and I'm pretty sure the M3 is just a bad UPNP/DLNA implementation from the maker. So I'm happy with this.
