CSGreen Walnut Hull /Osage Orange in upstate NY

2011-10-21 Thread Saralou
This is what osage orange (/Maclura pomifera) /in Indiana looks
like.and our walnuts have comparatively smooth hulls when
viewed side by side. They're closer to a cauliflower in texture than an
orange or walnut. Generally the walnuts are an inch in diameter smaller
than the Osage Orange/hedgeapples.

The question re the green walnut hulls---don't hull them, that's too
much work. Just dump the green-looking balls in a bucket; wash if you
want; cover with vodka for at least 3 days. More if you want. Strain and
decant. The alcohol will take care of any dirt/bugs left on the nuts.

My squirrels don't leave the vodka soaked orbs in the compost bin.

CSWhite Noise Machine

2011-07-07 Thread Saralou

Hi Sandee.clearing out old posts here.

15-20 years ago a CEO for whom I worked wanted to put white noise in the
open cubicle space he'd decided to foist upon his case managers.
Fearing he would pipe it further, I did a bit of research on the
vibrations of the machine he was considering. Don't have ANY research
at the moment but here's the crux...
The white noise was to diminish or cancel the sound of other human
voices on the phone, etc. Literally it would cause the ear to stop
hearing that range of resonance...like factory workers often
have hearing loss in the range of the machine noise to which they are
subjected. While the mfgs said there was no permanent hearing loss, I'm
certain they didn't test it...they were just making money on
canceling noise.

Fiinding some music to put on earbuds may help. There are some sites
that advertize marvelous healing results from their noises but I've
never spent the money and apparently I saved nothing from them.

Some links that might be of interest.

Re: CSOsteoarthritis Question

2011-03-23 Thread Saralou Pedigo
From my reading, a couple of explanations come to mind for your DH's
symptoms: retraceng or parasites

Some folks think parasites cause arthritis symptoms. Moving pains cane
easily be attributed to parasites. Perhaps there's something in CMO that
the little boogers don't like. Maybe they're eating so well because of the
CMO that they're eliminating more waste wherever they happen to be feeding.

Retracement/retracing is a phenomenia where the body goes thru' symptoms in
chronologically backwards order as it heals: the body heals as an onion
peels, layer upon layer. At each layer, the body may recall or
re-experience the symptom of that layer prior to it disappearing.

  Subject: CSOsteoarthritis Question

  Dear Day,
  We have been unsuccessful in
achieving any benefit from CS.as an address for
any form of arthritis. However, we HAVE achieved near phenomenal
  results in addressing the entire
litany of arthritis insults (all forms) affecting any of the
articulating joints in the human body
via the implementation of a simple Cetyl Myristoleate (CMO) protocol.
  Independent researches confirmed.year ago
(circa 1975) that CMO was VERY EFFECTIVE in controlling/remedying the
negative influence of T-cells within the
joint capsules of all articulating jointsamong higher
  mammalsincluding humans.
I will not burden you with an extended litany
of the documented causes of the various presentations of
arthritis manifesting among humans..but I will summarize the
DOCUMENTED research efforts of reliable, INDEPENDENT
RESEARCH SCIENTISTS. Basically, what seems to occur within the human
community is that sometime near mid-=life
(usually around 55 years chronologically) the T-cells present in the
fluid of the articulating joints (most especially the extremities)
seem to lose the ability to differentiate between LIVE and DEAD tissue
(within the capsule joint area). What this means is that
the T-cells, literally, begin to consume a portion of ALL exposed
tissue within the synovial fluid within the capsuled environment.
This leads to tissue erosion---sometimes quite rapid. This attack
affects both ligaments and cartilagewithout differentation /
preference. What CMO does is that it, simply, TURNS OFF the
T-cellsthus, stopping the insult. The body, then, can effect
repairs and maintain the restoration effect. As a general rule, only
one 10 day protocol of 6 capsules (divided into 3 dosages)
daily (#2 gelatin size) has, generally, been sufficient to remedy the
vast majority of ALL ARTICULATING JOINT INSULTS
-at least such has been our experience since we inaugurated this
protocol in 1994. In about 85% of the cases ONLY one
course of the protocol was required for a long-term or permanent
effect. Additionally, we have determined the validity of
the claim that CMO demonstrates excellent efficacy as a BENEFICIAL
IMMUNE SYSTEM MODULATOR (when taken at
reduced levels of around 400 to 500 mg daily).
I can , with confidence, state that we have achieved what
we regard as near-miraculous results among a large population of
  volunteers
(over the immediately-past 15 years) through the application of this
simple protocol. CMO is completely non-toxic (actually, it is quite
  near to butter.in composition).
CMO may be obtained from a myriad of sources, via the
internet. If one is concerned with cost, I recommend obtaining CMO
in bulk form. Our most reliable supplier of powdered CMO, in both
efficacy and pricehas been Beyond-a-Century. We have NO
  connection,
what-so-ever with that supplierthey are just the best we have
  encounteredfor this type product.
I wish you well in your
  experimental endeavors, Sincerely, Brooks Bradley.

That scenario is quite possible in the near future, thanks to an Israeli

Graduate student Ronen Gottesman developed a silver nanoparticle-coated

Metallic silver has been known for generations as an antibacterial agent,
explains Prof. Aharon Gedanken, director of the Kanbar Laboratory of
Nanomaterials at BINA. Silver already is widely used as a bacteria fighter
in medicinal ointments, kitchen and bathroom surfaces and even
odor-resistant socks. Scientists have been exploring the use of silver
nanoparticles -- each 1/50,000 the width of a human hair -- as long-lasting
germ-fighting coatings for plastics, fabrics and metals.

The smaller the size of the particles, the more effective they are against
bacteria, Gedanken tells ISRAEL21c. However, developing a
nanoparticle-coated product suitable for commercial use has proven
difficult.

It came with 3 containers of 'non-drug' liquid which is, of course, saline
solution. The main part of the container holds 100 measured sprays, so
enough to last a long time before needing to refill.

It can be thrown into a purse or pocket and it won't leak. The spray comes
out as a very fine mist. The spray end is small so that it will fit into a
child's nostril, but that just makes it easy to put inside an adult nose
without feeling like it's filled your whole nose like you do with an adult
 spray bottle.

I've filled it with CS and sprayed my nose and my throat and inhaled into
my lungs. Very nice, very handy.

It cost $10 and I think it will prove to be worth it, as it's going to last
a very long time before a part wears out. The Afrin I was looking at,
walgreens own brand, was $5 for a bottle that I would have had to force the
top off of, and it's large to carry around, plus (because I did buy it too)
it does not mist anywhere near as good as the Child's Mist.

Re: CSMagnets Gauss measurement

2010-11-17 Thread Saralou

Neville,

Unless how it's magnetized (axially, diametrically, etc
http://www.kjmagnetics.com/magdir.asp) is standard on microwave
magnetron magnets, I don't know how you can tell gauss. I have a large
(10 diameter) thick (1.25) speaker magnet that's hollow in the
middle. My compass nor my +/- magnets are much help in determining
which way things flow so I leave it on the dryer with the berkey on top.

There is a magnetic viewing film
(http://www.kjmagnetics.com/products.asp?cat=154) that would allow you
to see the direction of magnetization. Perhaps measuring pull would give
you a clue about the gauss. There's some interesting reading regarding
gauss at K J. http://www.kjmagnetics.com/FAQ.asp

   *Sources of Extremely Powerful Magnets*

   Source: Sam's Gadget FAQ
   http://www.repairfaq.org/sam/gadget.htm#gadsep

Two excellent sources of magnets are described below. These are at
least as strong as the more well known speaker types, possibly much
stronger, and generally easier to remove:

   * Microwave oven magnetron tubes. Go to your local appliance
repair shop and ask - they just toss bad ones. Each one has
two ring shaped ferrite magnets about 2-1/4 in diameter with
a 7/8 hole, magnetized N-S on the faces.

Surplus places typically charge $3 to $6 each for one of these
 magnets.

Note: A few older magnetrons used AlNiCo magnet assemblies or
even possibly electromagnets which are not nearly as
interesting. However, you probably won't see any of these.

   * Large hard disk drives - especially full height 5-1/4 high
performance types - e.g., Seagate WREN series or Micropolous
boat anchors (the rare earth magnets in these are wicked). The
magnets in small drives are even stronger but are, well, much
smaller. :-) A typical size for a large drive is about 1 x
1-1/4 by 1/2. Since almost no one wants such large slow
drives anymore, they are often found at swap meets or yard
sales for next to nothing. These magnets are a few thousand
 Gauss compared to 10 to 15 K Gauss (1 to 1.5 Tesla) for a
medical MRI scanner (of course, the field of the MRI scanner's
superconducting magnet is uniform over a volume of several
cubic FEET! The disk drive magnet's field decays quickly as
 you move away from it.)

Surplus places may charge $12 or more for ONE of the magnets
from a large disk drive (there are typically 2 to 6 such
 magnets in a disk drive)!

I have a monolithic clump of 40 or 50 of the magnets from full
height 5-1/4 SCSI drives. I figure there is a black hole
growing inside but haven't dared to look. :) The only way I
was able put the clump together with minimal damage to flesh
was by using a hard wood ramp to gently guide each new magnet
into place. I haven't figured out how I'll ever get them apart
 though!

Here is a quick easy experiment to try with these powerful
magnets: Slide one such magnet over a thick aluminum plate.
 What do you feel? Or, let a 1/8 x 2 x 12 aluminum plate
drop through the intact yoke from a Seagate WREN series 5-1/4
full height hard drive positioner. What happens? Why? What
material might produce an even more pronounced effect? Why?

For more things to do with these neat magnets, see:
 Neodymiumarium http://www.netcomuk.co.uk/%7Ewwl/neodym.html.

CAUTION: Both these types are powerful and will squash flesh as they
suck all the bits off of your magnetic media! I am not kidding about
the part about squashed flesh - with some you actually need a small
crowbar to pry the assembly apart!

You will find that some of these magnets are painted. This provides
some resistance to chipping though this material may be on the verge
of flaking off or has already done so in spots. In any case, I
further recommend that you add additional layers of a tough enamel
(e.g., Rustoleum) or the plastic/rubber dip used to coat tool
handles. Otherwise, chipping damage (at least) will result all too
easily and the chips are just as powerful as the rest of the magnet.

Additional Disclaimer: I will not be responsible when your spouse or
parents come home to find the microwave or PC missing some key
components and as dead as a brick!

(1) into about 1 cup of distilled water or CS, added powdered hydrolyzed
collagen to saturation point (no more powder would go into solution)
(2) using this solution as the parent (75% by volume), mixed in DMSO
(25% by volume) and allowed to cool to room temperature.

   * Candidate skin surface was prepared by light washing/rinsing,
 using weak soap solution.
   * Damp drying and applying, generously. the Collagen X DMSO
solution (using care about the eyes, due to the hygroscopic nature
 of DMSO).
   * Allow 5 to 10 minutes for proper absorption.
   * A shiny surface appearance is quite normal as is a slightly
sticky feel on the fingers when moved across the treated surface.

Obvious Results: Immediately, it becomes evident that the very small
wrinkles are noticeably reduced in appearance (a result of the hydrating
of the outer skin layers), as the tiny valleys appear to fill-in as
the entrained moisture penetrates AND softens. While the larger wrinkles
(containing the higher densities of free-standing lean tissue) present
a much lower degree of improvement they do enjoy a noticeable/marked
improvement in softness-due, primarily, to the improved hydration.
Overall enhancement in skin softness and general pliability, presents
immediately and is evident to even the most skeptical (at least that has
been our, repeatable, experience). When this protocol is repeated twice
daily, the general improvement in reduced wrinkling effect and skin
surface pliability becomes quite evident.
Note: Due to the residual effect of the excess collagen on the skin
surface (gives a glazed appearance), a woman might desire to remove this
simply by wiping with a damp cloth---before applying make-up or just
leaving it au natural after the wiping.
We achieved similar results with several different suppliers' hydrolyzed
collagen product, but the most effective appeared to be the
Instantized variety from Beyond-a-Century. We purchased the Hydrolyzed
Collagen in the 1 lb. containers at reasonable cost from all suppliers.
It is of note that care is recommended when applying the DMSO X COLLAGEN
solution close to the eyes. Although there is no demonstrated danger in
case some material got on to the eyeball and/or the lid
.. the hygroscopic effect of even 25% DMSO could result in
sensations akin to burning..

Sincerely, Brooks Bradley. p. s. There is, some, evidence that entrained
collagen is depositing in the lean tissue fractions underlying the
skin layers. We have not employed testing that would, conclusively,
substantiate this indication. Such testing involves rather costly
endeavors .. and we are not in the cosmetics business. so will
not undertake such action. However, such measures might well appeal to
persons who are, commercially, active in this field.

Thu, *10 Sep 2009 *17:09:39-0400 (EDT) From: Brooks Bradley

I believe I can offer a few comments that may be of valuefor those
who are actually conducting research of their own. Someone made a
comment about the feasibility of implementing kitchen blenders for
achieving the emulsifying force in the encapsulation liposomalenomena.

It is true, in fact, that a certain measure of ascorbate encapsulation
will result from such activity (about 20% maximum, under ideal
conditions, employing special measures to control foaming).

We did, actually, evaluate this type process... early on, in our
preliminary research on this phenomena, but abandoned it because of low
efficiency and requirements for closer tolerances between the liquid
components. This said, if there are list members actively engaged in
attempts to reconcile a useful, low-end efficiency encapsulation.
there are some modifications/refinements they might consider to
actually improve the encapsulation levels which might be acceptable (to
them).

The following comments might be of use to these individuals.

First, the conversion of Ascorbic Acid into sodium ascorbate is
recommended. There are several reasons for this: Sodium ascorbate ph is
at least 3000% more absorbable than ascorbic acid in the human body. By
this conversion, it is much easier to buffer toward neutral ph which
will greatly mitigate against EXCESS foaming during the actual
mixing/agitating of the encapsulation process.

One simple, acceptable, method for accomplishing this conversion is to

·mix One Part ascorbic acid and

·One Part Sodium Bicarbonate together in

·distilled water (e. g. one teaspoon Ascorbic acid with One teaspoon
Sodium bicarbonate in one cup of water).

·Stir well and allow to sit [usually about 45 to 60 seconds or until the
spontaneous generation of bubbles stops) for a few moments.

·Next, add about 1.5 teaspoons of powdered/granulated lecithin into
the parent solution.

·Our best mixing results were achieved by using a hand-held mixing tool
(e. g. Long shank mixer, with bottom-mounted blade.)

·Pour the liquid mix into a cylindrical glass or plastic (ordinary
drinking glass is o. k.) container... but try to use one that is just
wide enough to accommodate the diameter of the mixer blade assembly.
for best results. Note: Do not fill above 1/2 of volume of container.
Start mixer at slowest speed and accelerate to high speed, being careful
to not generate such high levels of foam as to overrun the top of the
container. The amount of foaming present indicates (as a general rule)
the ph of the solution.

·Agitate for about 60 seconds and observe the degree of foaming. If no
higher than 1/2 inch, the ph is relatively close to neutral. If much
higher, the ph is, probably, over on the acid side. In any case, it is
not critical.

This type of protocol should result in *an encapsulation of about
20%*-best achievement.

However, there is one VERY important gain over using ascorbic acid as
the vitamin C component-the UN-ENCAPSULATED vitamin C component, now
present, is MUCH more rapidly absorbed than would be a conventional
ascorbic acid component.

These comments are for general, not exact, parameters. One may, at their
own discretion, modify the Bicarb X Vit. C volumes to meet their
personal taste. This includes variations in water volume versus dry
component volumes. The ratio of one to one for the volumes of Ascorbic
acid and Bicarbonate of soda, is just a guide placed well near the
middle of acceptable ratios. Individuals may safely vary the ratios
in either direction. Researchers should understand that, as a general
rule, the taste of the finished solution will be more tart on the acid
side, and less so... on the basic (alkaline)side.. and less
pronounced on EITHER side... as dilution level is increased. I hope
these comments are of some value to researchers on the list. Sincerely,
Brooks Bradley

9 10 09 5.24pm A few moments ago I submitted a post relating to
liposomal encapsulation. I made a pronounced typographical error. In
line 11 the text should read Sodium ascorbate is 3000% more
absorbable, than is ascorbic acid. My profound apologies I
completely missed it because of poor proofing. Sincerely, Brooks Bradley8

Brooks, I'm curious why you recommend a 1:1 ratio of AA:BS for creating
the sodium ascorbate. I did some googling and it seems most people
recommend 2:1 for AA:BS.

I found the following in the Vitamin C Foundation forums, which explains
the2:1 ratio: NaHCO3 + C6H8O6 -- NaC6H7O6 + H2CO3

One mole of sodium bicarbonate is 84 grams, and one mole of ascorbic

Re: CSDMSO killing nerves

2010-10-09 Thread Saralou
Given that DMSO is used as part of the solution for
preservation/transport for organs to be transplanted, I'd be very
surprised if nerve damage is an issue. More likely (--read Stan Jacobs
material!--he's a researcher!) pain relief has to do with changing the
permeability of cell membrane. When you also consider how often it's
used on athletic injuries, I'd be surprised if nerve damage is a factor.
Ask your doc if his info is published or verified anyplace--like sports
meds or vet meds or with cystitis or with transplant technology.

Consider reading the articles at Jacob's site if you haven't read
Morton's book. Then you have a way to judge what DMSO naysayers come up

There's no magnetizer on this 2-bottle vortex maker but it's way easier
to use than gluing and drilling. I suspect taping magnets on somewhere
might do the trick but not sure what the trick was yet.

CShelp needed Skin cancer - black salve or chickweed

2010-09-13 Thread Saralou
Please *always* remember when reading herbal remedies to make sure you
know which plant is being used--get the Latin name and put it in google

Common names of plants vary from place to place, even among

Thank you, Rowena, for including the Latin name of the plant you call
Chickweed! Saralou

it kind of oozes away.

Also wondered if it might help with some protection from airborn

Re: CSPromising protocol.....Toe Fungus

2010-08-13 Thread Saralou

 Henna and toe fungus

One authority Robert Rosen, Ph.D, believes that lawsone, is the
ingredient in Jewelweed that neutralizes Poison Ivy. It is also in
Henna. And the Jewelweed tincture lightly stains when applied to PI.
Small price to pay. [the other authority said it was the same anti
inflammatory, anti fungal in Preparation H, 2-methoxy-1-(4-naphtho) quinine.

Toe (not tonail) fungus: On another list, the remedial use of
turpentine is being discussed. Occasionally I find cracks under my
toes...if left to their own devices they spread and become inflamed and
painful. Don't know what happens after that as I never let it get any
worse. Can't tell if food triggers it or summertime Crocs (I got them
before crocs and also in winter) or what. No, it's not from poorly
drying toes/feet. Anyway, Peroxide kills fungus, right? I decided to
soak foot in peroxide...and it became dramatically worse. Moved from
tiny cuts under the toes to painful inflammation between them as well.
On a whim, I painted it all with turpentine. To my amazement, it didn't
sting like oreganoil or ozonated olive oil (both of which work). They
were so much better the following morning I didn't bother with another
application. Symptoms are all gone. I suspect fungus is lurking for
another opportunity.

I buy it at internatural.com by the pound for my hair. I never have
any scalp fungus

I am not thinking of trying it on my toes, but will wait until sandal

fungus is more of a problem during the winter for me anyway, due to
wearing shoes

Hi Lois,

Not sure about the regs in WA but there's no Federally enforced
regulation on menthol (tho' there is some discussion on them limiting
the amount of menthol permitted in cigarettes).

These search terms buy menthol crystals
work to give you a source of menthol should that be for what you're
looking. www.mountainroseherbs.com/learn/menthol_crystals.php has
menthol crystals for sale Menthol assay- 99.52%.
www.bannertherapy.com/ProductInfo.aspx?menthol-crystalsnumber=99-372
does and of course, they are available on amazon and ebay.

While it's not the 19% in Monkey Holding Peach, yesterday I purchased a
couple of Eagle Balm products at one of the oriental groceries. Both
were $2.99 for each. [they didn't do beans for this poison ivy, lol.]
Eagle Balm Green Salve, no volume/wt indicated. Ingredients: Camphor
11%, Menthol 15%
Eagle Brand Medicated Oil 24 ml (.8 fl oz). Ingredients: Menthol 14.5%,
Methyl salicylate 30%. Also Chlorophyll, ethyl alcohol, mineral oil,
rose oil.
Only mentioning them to show you can buy fairly high concentrations and
their import is not regulated.

I have added the non-Amazon Monkey Holding Peach sites included in my
earlier post below. This is not close to all of them on google or bing.

Possible theory. Leg cramps are caused by xenoestrogens. These are
estrogen mimicking compounds found in things like plastics and
pesticides. Soap contains a molecule which is oil seeking on one end,
and water seeking on the other end. Xenoestrogens which come in contact
with a soap molecule attach to the molecule, and then become soluble in
the blood, which transports it to the liver or kidneys which then expel
it. Or attaching to the soap molecule simply disables its mimicking
effects.

Re: CSWhat's the best way to prepare chaparral?

2010-06-12 Thread Saralou

Let me start by saying I don't know. There. Now I can visit about it.

If they were my dogs I'd simmer the stuff all weekend.because my
electricity is near-free weekends and a place I've bought stuff from,
Limited Edition Herbals (not selling, just telling
.limitededitionherbs.com/) has a warm room where they hold their herbs
and water at a specific low heat for a week or so. Varies with what
they're working with. If it's important, call them; I bet they'll tell you.

And yes, I would add a bit of DMSO for topical or internal use.

I haven't worked with chaparral; are it's properties most effective
internally or externally? Might make a difference in how you prepare it.
I guess my instinct is that if you're going to rinse the animal in it,
you want a large quantity and water will be the most cost effective
ministrum. If you're giving it internally, you want the extraction
method that brings out the anti fungal/parasitic elements.

I would, however, first try Borax because I've seen it do wonders for
the invisibiters on dogs that have left them hairless and oozing in
places due to the itch. Treatment has been to wash the dog, rinse, and
final rinse is of a borax solution. Borax crystals get sprinkled in the
places the dog frequents to lie down. Ensuing treatments include fairly
frequent dusting of the dog with borax crystals/powder.

Diatomaceous earth may also work to kill the mites if there are any. It
should be used internally and externally. It is my understanding that DE
has no chemical action per say but it's sharp edges kill things and the
electrostatic charge likely attracts things. You know: things. lol.
I'd at least use the DE in the yard in their favorite nap spots.

Doug, a horse guy on the DMSO, list has tons of experience in making
tinctures with DMSO and treating animals. Might be a good consult.

Two of my dogs are itching, apparently from a fungal infection. After
trying all sorts of things, I thought of giving them an external
treatment of chaparral (for its anti-fungal and anti-viral properties)
with a bit of DMSO (to drive the chaparral into the skin).

The dogs are raw fed, mostly grass-fed or organic meats, with raw
meaty bones. They also get kelp, salmon oil, Transfer Factor,
digestive enzymes, and colloidal silver. I will run rife frequencies
for ringworm once I get my plasma light tube device next week. But I
need to do more for these dogs, since they’re rescued and therefore
have weak immune systems.

Chaparral grows wild where I live, so I’ve been collecting it. Now
it’s time to prepare it. But I’m not sure whether it’s better to
prepare a tincture, or to simply simmer it in water (how hot, and for
how long?) so I can soak the dogs in a tub.

I would appreciate suggestions. Thanks in advance.

CSOFF Topic Sous Vide Cooking

2010-05-26 Thread Saralou Pedigo
Don't know which web page...I found it looking for how to cook a lamb roast.
It happened to be a DIY page for cooking via a homemade Sous Vide.

As instructed, I tested my small cooler to see how quickly it lost heat and
plunged my bagged lamb into 150ºF water for 5-6 hours. I know, the article
said rare lamb should be 135ºf or so but my husband doesn't eat rare and I
eat lamb only when it's given to me so haven't acquired the taste entirely.

Worked great. Will use the method next nice beef I have as it was perfectly
pink and I never get beef quite right.

The downside is that with the DIY method, you're cooking your food in a
plastic baggie, likely not the best of health preserving methods.

Ben Alkire of Purdue University developed a distiller specifically designed
for essential oils. You might try one of those...or at least give him a
phone call. Dr. Rob Pappas may know of other home distillers...or at least
he could give you a tip or two on avoiding toxicity.

.Sous Vide cooking looks to be one way to cook and preserve
meats and vegetables while retaining a large amount of their vitamins.
Sous Vide is a cooking method that cooks food at low temperatures in
vacuum sealed bags submerged in water. Temperatures are carefully
controlled at temps below boiling. Cooking can take several days at the
lower temperatures. Vitamins, even vitamin C, are mostly retained, even
during storage in the sealed cooking bags. This may be the ultimate
 crock pot.
The main drawback is that Sous Vide cookers are expensive. You can do it
manually but it takes a great deal of your time.
But I came across plans for a DIY Sous Vide cooker that you may even be
able to simplify some more than it is. The plans use a microcontrolled
heater but I think that one could devise a method using a simple digital
thermometer that has a settable audio temp warning capability. The
audio warning could be used to halt the heater for a predetermined
amount of time when the desired regulated temperature is achieved and
maintain satisfactory temperature control. A digital thermometer of that
 type costs around $20.
Sous Vide cooking does not reliably kill all pathogens and so food must
still be refrigerated or frozen but the food will keep for an extended
period of time without a significant loss of vitamins. Again, something
such as silver citrate or magnetic pulsing might help to extend the
 period of preservation.

For those who may be interested here are the plans for the DIY cooker:

I agree that using an LED display will help. Faster is electricity. Just
be careful--use it privately so people won't think you're electrocuting

That being said, I can't tell you how to make the latest instrument, only
that they work because when I first joined the microelectricity group I made
one with a 6 v lantern battery and it works great on tooth infection.
Swishing with good stuff (EIS, diluted oregano oil, peroxide, grain alcohol,
salt water) will keep infection at bay once you've routed it.

much works. I purchased some little round pendants at the pet store for
hanging on collars or zippers for illumination in the dark and they even
helped with painful areas and infections, i also purchased a mini Christmas

Some children's cancer treatment centers use Red LED to help heal the mouth

Pair this up with any other treatment and i think the infection won't stand
 a chance.
The only thing i need to tell you is if there is any implant or foreign
object of any kind it will cause the body to force it out, i had a implanted
support strut in my nose and it cause my body to start trying to for it out,
it was in an area where it may not have been able to get all the way out on

already grown enough of my own tissue to support my nose without it.

A friend of mine has a daughter (5ish) and the dentist has told them that
her two front teeth are infected and they should be pulled. I think it’s a
horrific idea and that they should battle the infection naturally and have
the teeth come out on their own (baby teeth). I think some regularly dosing

 swallowing the EIS).

CSAnti fungals

2010-03-19 Thread Saralou Pedigo
There are quite a few anti fungal essential oils. In my experience, none
work exclusively and thoroughly on nail fungus. However, it may be that
you'll want to add a few drops here and there to augment your treatment. Not
sure the body / fungus acclimates to treatment but adding 2-3 drops (yes,
drops) of any one essential oil to your mixture and then changing off every
week might be of benefit. Most if not all on my list below contain phenols.
Phenols are antiseptic chemicals, stimulate the body, beneficial in small
doses; large doses can be a poison to the nervous system and other body
systems.

Again, make sure they're diluted to .1% or less of total volume--hence the 2
drops in an oz. or two of your iodine/DMSO mixture. [note: Some essential
oil MLMs advocate the use of neat - undiluted - essential oils. While very
effective in treating a variety of maladies, it is the path to
sensitization--not a pretty picture.]

Extra virgin coconut oil is noted for it's anti fungal properties. I
wouldn't count on it to eradicate a foot/nail fungus but I would use it to
prevent one, once you've cleared it up.

At what latitude do you live? Which country/state, what part N-S?

Because of reports similar to yours and reading the mega doses
prescribed by MDs to get levels up to their normal, I've switched to a

extended spot of sun since before Christmas--northern Indiana, USA.

The blood test is on my list but until I have the money, I'm
supplementing more than before. Even tho' I suspect D3 to be the latest

When the day is warm enough, I go out with a jacket and shorts to get

I'd gotten my level up two years ago from 14 in February to a near ideal 55 in

three times a week as soon as weather allowed.

Have any of you had the vitamin D blood test? I've heard that in the

get any vitamin D because of the angle of the sun. (Plus you'd be a

Re: CSliposomal Vit C

2010-03-11 Thread Saralou Pedigo
Pretty much we know by logic and faith. Because Brooks has the equipment to
test it; because Brooks did the testing and developed the protocol, and
because Brooks said so.

Brooks initially posted a method by which the home encapsulator could
measure encapsulation and retracted it as inaccurate. Perhaps you're
remembering that post and mixing it into some others.

Brooks said nothing about the liquid staying in emulsion (no separation)
being an indicator of encapsulation (save in the post which he
retracted). No separation is not an indicator of encapsulation but an
indicator of emulsification. Your water and your lecithin is mixed quite
well. Says nothing about how much Sodium Ascorbate was encapsulated--per
Brooks retraction of how to test.

Brooks Bradley's testing showed that the ultrasonic cleaner was the way one
could achieve micro encapsulation of vitamin C. The effect of the
ultrasonic cleaner is to blast the lecithin and the C together very
forcefully so that whammo, the C is encapsulated in the Lecithin. Without
the additional force of the ultrasonic cleaner, according to his testing, it
is not possible to achieve more than about 20% encpasulation if that. And
that would be if using any kind of mechanical mixing/blending device.

In another vein, if you're concerned with encapsulation, Dee, warm your DW
and melt the lecithin then zap it a few times with your Magic Bullet. Put
it in the fridge and let it cool without doing anything with the Sodium
Ascorbate. Once the Lecithin mixture is cool then add the sodium ascorbate
and use your blender to encapsulate what will with the force available.

Have you used EIS instead of distilled water yet? Makes it a realy icky
color. I suppose that means some of the silver has come out of it's ionic
form? Dunno but am curious.

SL

little Bullet sort of blender I'm using is quite fierce, and I only pulse it
about six times. The one I made today I made without heating the water at
all and although it took much longer for the lecithin to 'melt' it still has
had the same results. Has anyone had any different ones to this i.e. has
anyone had theirs separating? Thanks for the info anyway--it is still ok
anyhow but it would be nice to *know!* dee

 On 11 Mar 2010, at 14:22, M. G. Devour wrote:

Think of melting butter or coconut oil, Dee.

The lecithin provides a certain kind of lipid, fat molecules that

Re: CSliposomal Vit C

2010-03-10 Thread Saralou Pedigo
Dee,

I've used a vitamix to premix my liposomal C in anticipation of ultrasonic
treatment.

I do it in stages (adding cold EIS made with DW) to accommodate the foam
from making the sodium ascorbate (Ascorbic Acid + sodium bicarbonate). I'm
quite leery of using warm wateryou don't want to melt the lecithin, you
want to bombard it (hence the ultrasonic cleaner) with the sodium ascorbate
so that the particles are encapsulated by the lecithin, not melted out of
the lecithin.

According to Mr. Bradley, you're only going to get about 20% encapsulation
when using a blender or mixer of any sort rather than the ultrasonic
bombardment. Not sure why you'd bother. I suppose some is better than
none.

Sol,

Glad your technique is working for you. That's what counts, isn' it?
Perhaps the lecithin helps your grastrointestinal stuff so that you tolerate
the sodium ascorbate better.

I was only quoting Brooks. He's the one who did the research. I just
followed directions and asked him a couple of questions.

BTW, when I did a sample batch using only a stick blender it didn't
separate. I've had zero batches (out of maybe 45) separate: all stay in
suspension.

Re: CScapillaries in eyes breaking

2010-01-12 Thread Saralou

The article quoted below specifically mentions that pine bark extract
seals leaky blood vessels in the eye.
The author of the article is one to read with caution (he's prone to
hyperbole at the very least) IMO.

http://www.naturalnews.com/027920_pycnogenol_diabetes.html

A total of 46 diabetic patients were involved in the randomized,
controlled study. Twenty-four of them were treated with pine bark
extract once a day for three months while the remaining 22 were given a
placebo. All the patients http://www.naturalnews.com/patients.html had
diabetes for at least four years and all were beginning to develop
retinopathy http://www.naturalnews.com/retinopathy.html. *Seventy-five
percent of patients in the pine bark group experienced improvement in
their vision* while none in the placebo
http://www.naturalnews.com/placebo.html group did.

Dr. Robert Steigerwalt, one of the lead researchers of the study,
confirmed that not only does pine bark extract halt the progression of
diabetic http://www.naturalnews.com/diabetic.html retinopathy, it can
cause it to regress by sealing the leaky blood vessels in the eye that
lead to the disease http://www.naturalnews.com/disease.html. Such
results were witnessed in as little as two months. He also noted that
diabetics http://www.naturalnews.com/diabetics.html in the early
stages of the disease can prevent such complications from ever occurring
by supplementing with pine bark extract.

Pycnogenol, the branded formula of the antioxidant
http://www.naturalnews.com/antioxidant.html plant extract derived from
the French maritime pine tree, has proven itself time and time again to
be a powerful protective nutrient, particularly for diabetics. When
administered during the early stages of diabetes
http://www.naturalnews.com/diabetes.html, many studies have shown that
pine bark is effective at preventing and treating the diabetic retinal
diseases.

If so, maybe someone can help me. I have been using a lecithin that
was coarse looking in small granules. When I reordered granulated it
came much finer, almost a powder. I made some today by dissolving the
lecithin in one cup of hot water and shaking it. Same with the vit C
in 1/2 cup hot water. After vibrating it in the ultrasound device for
480 seconds the lecithin was in a number of gummy pieces and the
liquid was not as milky as it had been. I did stir it while vibrating
3 or 4 times.

Previously, it had been very white or creamy looking with a small
amount of uncombined lecithin on the bottom. I would shake it before
using and it mixed in well. When I poured it today, out of the mixer,
lots of the lumps of uncombined lecithin flopped out.

Any help?

I highly recommend the book Day mentioned below. The guy who wrote it,
Cass Igram/Ingram (depending on which edition you get) is responsible
for much oregano oil testing you see at pub Med. The protocols offered
in the book are based on oregano oil that has been diluted by ~95%.
That is, 5% origanum vulgare, 95% extra virgin olive oil. The book does
not say this but the oil he was selling at the time he wrote it was
exactly that. He suggests treatments in drop dosages sometimes several
times/day. NEVER neat (undiluted). Liver damage is a very serious
issue as is sensitization.

He owns North American Herb Spice
http://www.northamericanherbandspice.net/ and sells oregano oil from
there as well as in health food stores and mail order across the USA.
While his essential oils are likely good enough for ingestion, I
wouldn't buy them because of the price. I've been buying from Butch
--who sold Igram's his first oregano oil-- since '94 because of price,
etc. He founded (may have completely retired recently) the site
recommended by Garnet and Gail, av-at.com/ http://www.av-at.com/

As Day said, you can take it undiluted internally and you won't die,
probably. But why endure the pain or introduce fear? I dilute what I
use on my gums down to 40% and it's still quite powerful.

If you did enough research to know why you were taking it, you'd also
have enough info to make decisions about how to take it. The CS list is
a great place to start. Now buy the book, join a bona fide essential
oil list for a while or search pub med, etc. or more.

PS, Igram also has done testing on other essential oils--rosmary, black
seed, tea tree and more.

It certainly speeds healing whether it provides oxygen or not.

I've only ever used Ozonated Olive Oil from Saul Pressman //
www.aloeessence.com/naturesgifts.html and it is marvelous. I keep the
large jar in the freezer and slice off chunks for the smaller jar I keep in
the fridge. When I need some, I slice a tiny bit off and apply. Cuts,
scrapes, sores heal very quickly when it is applied.

Because I keep it in the kitchen (not bathroom) I sometimes don't remember
to apply it as often as is beneficial-- Many people on the ozone lists
report that it will make skin tags and moles go away. That's not been my
experience but it may be due to frequency of use.

It does need to stay refridgerated to retain the ozone. Buying in winter is
better than summer because of that. IF ozone is present when the odor is
present, Saul's OOO retains ozone very well as evidenced by the tablespoon I
add to 2 tablespoons of coconut oil and keep in the bathroom for face and
elbows.

I recently came across a web page where they were selling ozonated coconut
oil and may try some of that.

One can ozonate oils oneself but to get the solid stuff that is stable when
kept cold, it takes many hours (days? more?) of ozonation. I'd rather it be
someone else's electric bill.

Hi Pat,

Sodium Ascorbate...1-3 parts Ascorbic Acid to 1 part
Sodium Bicarbonate. (remerber Brooks Bradley's post on buffering the
liposomal C? it makes it Sodium Ascorbate)

That's it.

If you want to buy it, EmergenC by Alacer or EfferC by Now.
But it costs less to buy plain old Ascorbic Acid crystals and baking soda.

I just refilled my 4 oz desk bottle (from which I sip from time to

It's a blass bottle with plastic cap. I noticed the same thing on the

Somebody please reassure me that EIS kills single-cell fungi so this

Dear Silver List,

Iodine allergies are as well known as contact allergies to Silver.
Reactions to shrimp, shellfish, kelp, etc. have been traced to iodine.
Even when used as a disinfectant in a purified form, Iodine is very well
know to cause allergic reaction. My sister almost died from an unknown
iodine allergy during a medical test using radioactive iodine to check
her kidneys, she literally passed out on the table.

(Immune systems have also been know to attack thyroid hormones for that
matter causing low thyroid.)

Most people when allergic to wheat gluten, corn gluten, etc are allergic
to the proteins (gluten specifically to the sugar binding proteins
called lectins). Being allergic to protein is true with bee venom
(foreign proteins), grass pollens, and the majority of milk and egg
allergies.

This isn't so astounding; all proteins, fats, oils, etc coming into the
body are foreign bodies. How the digestive tract, Liver, and the immune
system react to this foreign matter varies from individual to individual.

I had one client's son who could only eat distilled water, white rice,
and a milk made from lamb's meat. The child should have had beri-beri,
scurvy, and a host of other deficiency disease, but did not. The child
would go into anaphylactic shock from infancy (rules out the
psychological factor), when other foods were introduced, even when in
dilute or minute quantities, and unknown to the child.

A favorite website on Iodine.

http://www.lewrockwell.com/miller/miller20.html

I am not biased against iodine, but as allergies go it is a very common
allergy. One can even be allergic to sunlight, it is rare disease
called Solar Urticaria.

The reason I believe that the process further cleans DMSO is because

To further purify the DMSO, put it in you refrigerator until
most of it is frozen. Then pour out the liquid portion which
will have most of the (water soluble) smelly stuff in it.
What's left behind is very pure.

You can pour the liquid portion into a clear plastic drinking
water bottle and re-freeze it and repeat the process. That
way you will waste less, although it may not end up auite as
smell free as the first batch.

Re: CSDMSO / Low Odor

2009-08-18 Thread Saralou
Orilla, when you freeze/clean your DMSO, if you have distilled water or
colloidal silver, wash the ice cube that's left. Or rinse the bottle
and pour out the rinse.

I generally put the dmso in a pour container because I can't always get
the liquid, when there is some, to come out of the bottle if I just put
the bottle in the fridge. It's easy to pour off and then I rinse the
ice block with CS or distilled water and I rinse out the empty bottle
before I pour the DMSO back in.

DMSO freezes around 65ºF so refrigerating will freeze it. Mine takes
about 3 hours to freeze usually, and often takes longer to thaw on the
counter. Prolly has something to do with purity.

I started rinsing because the non frozen liquid was so abominably strong...

I think it helps. By the way, I got as much extra out of the 8 oz
99.9% pure brown glass bottle I bought at the health food store for an
arm and a leg as the $5.95 quart from Rural King.

As I understand it, there is some you can buy that supposedly has no odor.

Someone on the DMSO list, Vince, I think, said that he read a protocol
where one works up to 5 dropperfuls a day, adding 1 dropper whenever you
and others can no longer smell it. He hypothesized that it could be
that the DMSO stinks when it's cleaning/dissolving something in the
body. I haven't tried this yet but intend to. I feel so good when
I take it internally it'd be lovely to find a way to help folks use it
who are less tolerant of the process.

Our vitamin C liposomal encapsulation protocol is as follows:
Using a small (2 cup) Ultrasonic cleaner, (Item #03305, obtainable
from Harbor Freight @ about $30.00), we performed the following:
1. Dissolved 3 level tablespoons of soy lecithin in 1 cup of water
(preferably distilled).
2. Dissolved 1 level tablespoon of ascorbic acid powder (Vit. C) in
1/2 cup

of water.
3. Poured both solutions together in the ultrasonic cleaner bowl and
turned the unit on. Using a plastic straw (leaving the top of the
cleaner opened), gently, slowly, stirred the contents. Note: The
cleaner will, automatically, self-stop about every 2 minutes. Just
push ON button to continue. Repeat for a total of 3 series (6
minutes). By that time the entire solution should be blended into a
cloudy, homogeneous,

milk-like mixture. The LET solution is now formed.
4. This protocol furnishes about 12 grams (12000mg.) of vitamin C
product. At 70% encapsulation efficiency, 8400 mg would be of the LET
type. This solution will keep, acceptably, at room temperature for 3
to 4 days. Refrigerated, it will keep much longer. We use it so fast
around our place...there isn't enough left to be concerned over
storage. The homogenizing effect is so powerful that after 3 days at
room temperature, no precipitation or solution separation appears
evident. This type of sequestered vitamin C has demonstrated to be,
at least 5 times more effective (per volumetric measure) than any
other form of orally-ingested vitamin cthat we have tested.
Additionally, it appears to be even more rapid in tissue-bed
availabilitythan IV applications. An astounding revelationto
us. We estimate the DIY researcher can produce the active LET portion
of this solution for 15 cents per gramas against about $1.00 per
gram from commerci! al sources.
It is my hope that this, limited, explanation of our activities in
this area,
is of some value to our do-it-yourself health-maintenance researchers.
In any event, this protocol has demonstrated to be n on-toxic and most
helpful to OUR RESEARCHES.

Sincerely, Brooks Bradley.
p.s. A larger, more powerful, ultrasonic cleaner is now available at
Harbor Freight. Item number 91593. 2+ liters, for about $60.00. Both
units have performed quite well for us. Almost as well as our $500.00
lead zirconate titanate, research grade, unit.

CSemulsifiers beyond soy

2009-08-15 Thread Saralou

http://www.foodadditivesworld.com/emulsifiers.html

The most frequently used raw materials for *emulsifiers include palm
oil, rapeseed oil, soy bean oil, sunflower oil or lard/tallow. Egg*
happens to be the oldest emulsifier. Basic emulsifier production
involves combining oil (triglyceride) with glycerol that results in
monoglyceride. The type of triglyceride used in the reaction determines
the type of emulsifier obtained. Unsaturated triglycerides produce fluid
products such as oil while saturated triglycerides result in pasty or
solid structures like butter. Monoglycerides can be combined with other
substances, such as citric acid and lactic acid, in order to increase
their emulsifying properties.

Emulsifiers are used in creams and sauces, bakery, and dairy products.
They may be derived from the natural products or chemicals. Common
emulsifiers are lecithins, mono- and di-glycerides of fatty acids esters
of monoglycerides of fatty acids and phosphated monoglycerides.

CSVitamin D hype

2009-07-03 Thread Saralou

Today was a mercola, mike adams and a life extension article on D3 in
my e-box

For a year or two now I've watched Vitamin D (D3 and more) get
increasing headline space in "natural" news than any other nutrient.
(Please don't pick at my language, it is inexactif you can tell
what I mean, read on, if not, delete.) Everywhere it seems there is
research going on or at least being reported, showing some amazing need
being met by Vit D.

I don't doubt that it is of benefit to many people because our food
supply is so corrupt and the RDA has been low enough that no doubt many
things are the result of deficiencies. Oh, and global warming. But why
only vitamin D? Is it the only nutrient particle of immense benefit to
the human body?

Is this something here that's patentable? Is it the byproduct of big
biz somewhere?

It reminds me of Soy 15 years ago...which is why I wonder if something
else is going on. This is exactly the way soy began to become a
necessary part of every hidden ingredient and everything we elect to
consume.

Where is the connection? Is there one? What's the real deal?

Vitamin D insufficiency is a global issue

In
a report published on June 19, 2009 in the journal Osteoporosis
International,
the International Osteoporosis Foundation's expert working group on
nutrition revealed the global extent of vitamin D insufficiency. They
found that suboptimal vitamin D levels are common in most areas of the
world, and appear to be on the rise.
The
committee, chaired by Ambrish Mithal of Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals
in New Delhi, India, reviewed published literature concerning the
vitamin D levels of people residing in Asia, Europe, Latin America, the
Middle East and Africa, North America and Oceania. Although there was
some of variance in assay methodology and in the definition of vitamin
D deficiency and insufficiency, 25-hydroxyvitamin levels below 75
nanomoles per liter, which are generally considered insufficient, were
found to be widespread in every region studied. Older age, female
gender, higher latitude, winter season, dark skin pigmentation,
decreased sun exposure, dietary habits, and a lack of vitamin D
fortification were identified as factors contributing to low vitamin D
levels. Levels below 25 nanomoles per liter, indicating deficiency,
were prevalent in South Asia and the Middle East, where increased
urbanization and the wearing of clothing that covers most of the skin
are major contributors.

Right. And 15 years ago the amazing benefits of soy were at the top of
everyone's list.

It's not that there weren't good things in soy; it's just that most of
those things, we have since learned, are not bio available or they
offset something vital or any of a host of other problems (like causing
cancers). FDA recommends that consumers incorporate four servings of at
least 6.25 grams of /soy/ protein into *...*www.*soy*bean.org/health.html

It is new that Vitamin D is being touted as a cure-all. Oddly, the FDA
hasn't changed the RDA..not that either are trustworthy. But with
all these docs and scientists doing tests way beyond standard medical
convention the whole thing just looks oddly familiar.

Several years ago I could argue all the benefits of soy just like now we
can show all the whys and wherefores of supplementing with synthetic
D3. Seems strange. Was hoping someone else was thinking or knew of a
money trail.

CSSpider Bite - MRSA

2009-04-02 Thread Saralou
A week or so ago a nephew (stateside in the service) was bitten by a
spider (we think). It got sore and came to a boil-like white head. He
of course, popped it. Left a crater in his arm which increasingly
ached. So much so that he finally saw the doc. Said he had MRSA from a
spider bite and they cut a chunk out of his arm. They ordered him to do
exactly as instructed, chastizing him for waiting so long, attempting to
instill fear of loosing his arm.

He knows he's been shot full of experimental drugs with all the things
they've given him/them since he entered, but he's not exactly into
naturopathy. He did agree to let me email him some suggestions of
things he could do in addition to the doctor's orders, which could help
him preserve his arm. Please keep in mind he's in the service; has no
money and no transportation off base.

I can send him some oregano oil--since I use it for everything I'm sure
it would help here. Think maybe it'd work best ingested rather than
topically applied? Maybe diluted with some DMSO?

Not sure he has refrigeration available but I suppose some ozonated
olive oil would be worth a try. Great stuff but the ozone goes away if
you can't keep it cold as I understand it.

I keep thinking that if he were home we'd put multiple clay and/or
cabbage poultices on it. But he's not at home.

Wayne fixed his spider bite but I doubt he had interference from medics
and military superiors.

Thinking of Wayne, maybe just a bunch of Emergen-C packets to boost his
immune system would be good?

Do let me know what you all think. Thanks. Saralou

CSCMO/Glucosamine with MSM

2008-09-10 Thread Saralou

Hi Ernie,

I started taking CMO August 1st. The protocol I read (Brooks Bradley)
was 1800 mg CMO, 2000mg Glucosamine Sulfate, 3000mg MSM and DMSO 2x/day
on afflicted joints. total for day in divided doses.

I only have glucosamine as part of a calcium supplement (6 caps=300mg)
so I might take a little once a week. Keep thinking I'll buy some and
haven't gotten there yet. I also take a bone brew which contains a lot
of very absorbable minerals 2-3 times / week.

I already take more than that MSM/day with vitamin C.

Prefer not to use the DMSO as it stinks and I don't hurt that badly.
(Yes, I have even taken it internally and it works wonders--but it stinks.)

I have a hip joint that aches terribly. Back was going -snap-crackle-
pop every time I turned over in bed. Hands ache. Knees are tricky.

After a month, all is greatly diminished. No back crackles. Knees don't
hurt badly enough to put a magnet on or dmso. I do still spray Magnesium
oil over back/lower back. Hip no longer makes me want to cry. Hands hurt
but not as much. And as you can see, I didn't follow the instructions
very carefully. Mostly just the CMO and MSM. Who knows how well I'd do
if I get all the right ingredients together;-)

Hand pain used to disappear entirely when I'd go off coffee. Have cut
out the caffeine--I'm down to one cup of coffee on weekends instead of
one pot week days. I do drink tea but it's mostly herbal and very diluted.

When searching for my 2nd bottle of CMO online (1st was from
Vitaminshoppe. com, their house brand) I came across a proprietary
formula that looks interesting. Article is below. Saralou9/3/08

*Celadrin for Inflammation*

As consumers are searching for alternatives to Vioxx, Celebrex, and
other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, one product seems to be
attracting the most attention. This product, Celadrin®, is an
all-natural matrix of special cetylated, esterifed fatty acids. What
this means is that Celadrin® is a mixture of fatty acids that have been
stabilized by attaching natural cetyl alcohol. The specific components
of Celadrin® are cetyl myristoleate, cetyl myristate, cetyl
palmitoleate, cetyl laureate, cetyl palmitate, and cetyl oleate.

The unique features of Celadrin® as a natural product include an ability
to reduce inflammation and pain quickly with no side effects as
demonstrated in clinical trials published in the internationally
acclaimed Journal of Rheumatology. Available in cream and capsule form,
Celadrin® is clinically proven to produce results.

*How does it work?* Celadrin® has been shown to impact several key
factors that contribute to inflammation. Its main action appears to be
its ability to enhance cell membrane health and integrity. As a result
it halts the production of inflammatory compounds known as
prostaglandins. It also reduces the production of the negative immune
factors like IL-6 that play a central role in inflammation.

In simple terms, the bottom line is that Celadrin® improves the
lubrication of joints and prevents the manufacture of compounds that
produce pain and inflammation.

*What can Celadrin® do for you?* If you suffer from osteoarthritis or
other form of arthritis, Celadrin® can reduce pain and inflammation in
affected joints leading to improved movement. Clinical studies have also
shown Celadrin® to help psoriasis by reducing skin inflammation. The
reality is that given Celadrin® mechanism of action, it will likely be
shown to be useful in virtually any condition where inflammation plays a
role. In particular, studies are under way to further document its
effect on reducing C-reactive protein -- a relatively recently
identified risk factor for atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries).
Based upon currently available data, Celadrin® is certainly useful for
minor aches and pains associated with simple backache, arthritis,
strains, bruises and sprains. Future studies will certainly expand this
application.

*What are the results from clinical studies?* The clinical research on
Celadrin® has primarily focused on relief from osteoarthritis. For
example, in one of the first studies sixty-four patients with chronic
osteoarthritis of the knee were evaluated at baseline and at 30 and 68
days after consuming either placebo or Celadrin®. Results indicated that
compared to placebo, Celadrin® improves knee range of motion and overall
joint function. It was concluded that Celadrin® may be an alternative to
the use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs for the treatment of OA.^1

Another study assessed the effect of the Celadrin® cream alone in
osteoarthritis of the knees. Forty patients were randomly assigned to
receive either the Celadrin® cream or a placebo. Patients were tested on
3 occasions. Assessments included knee range of motion, timed
up-and-go from a chair and stair climbing, and two other functional
tests. For stair climbing ability and the up-and-go

THE EYES

Think of your eyeball as a balloon full of water, but instead of being
rubber, it is a protein membrane. Optical tissue normally allows fluids
to flow through the membrane wall which acts like a filter, cleaning out
harmful particles, keeping your eyes clear and your vision good as it
allows nutrients to permeate. But should the membranes become tough like
leather, the fluids are trapped and particles begin to accumulate. If
this buildup continues, your vision will seem as if you're looking
through frosted glass, a condition known as cataracts.

When eyedrops containing the proper amount of MSM are applied, the
membrane becomes permeable, and this has reversed the problem. It is
also important that the eye remain flexible so that the muscles can
alter its contour and focus as needed. In the event that its membranes
and muscles become rigid and tough, the eye will not be able to focus
properly, resulting in blurred vision. The MSM in eyedrops soothes and
softens the membranes, permitting fluids to pass through the optical
tissues to stabilize the pressure, repair any damage, clear up red spots
and bloodshot vessels, and remove floaters and other particles in the eye.

In one case, a 15 percent solution of MSM in isotonic saline was a
soothing treatment for the eye following accidental injury due to
particulate matter in the eye. *In a test with an irritated eye of a
rabbit, the eye cleared when treated every hour with a 10 percent
aqueous solution of MSM.* Be assured, the concentration in the MSM eye
drops you get will be sufficient. Follow the instructions on the label.

As noted earlier, *the B vitamins in general and the sulfur-related
amino acids and compounds are vital to maintaining healthy eyes.
Specifically, we've learned that glucosamine is the starting material
for the eyes, that glutathione promotes good eye health and low levels
accompany almost every type of eye disease.* We also know that people
suffering from the eye disease retinitis pigmentosa show reduced levels
of taurine within the eye.

Hi Chris,
Typical MSM eye drops are around 1% from what I hear. Is 15% safe?

CSpost heart surgery

2008-07-22 Thread Saralou

Great suggestions, Paula.

Dianne, Have you considered CS? Most of the people I know who had heart
surgery of any type also had MRSA. Because post surgery bodies are often
overburdened, it gets a foothold and persists as an energy-depleting
problem. It's rare to have surgery and not have MRSA. When the body
fights a superbug and normal infection and is trying to heal, less
important body functions are robbed of nutrients and energy. Triage.
Aches and pains just don't have a high priority when life-threatening
stuff uses up all the healing resources in the body.

If he were mine, I'd make him (yeah right ;-) drink chlorophyll with .25
tsp DMSO and 2 tsp CS once or twice a day. And I'd give him bone brew
(bones boiled for hours with some vinegar to draw out the minerals--and
garlic, onion, celery, sea salt, pepper for flavor) with every meal to
assure bioavailable minerals for all his enzyme processes.

Relatives of mine had dramatically different heart surgery experiences.
One not only had MRSA but was drastically allergic to the antibiotic
they gave him to fix it. Wrong. He said he didn't get an erection for
a year. He's strong now--surgery was at age 40, 12 years ago.

Another man had surgery at age 70. Never felt any pain and once the
pneumonia left (in 3 days) was fine. Married 6 months later.

Dad had it at age 80 to replace a valve. Idiot docs apparently didn't
know what a healthy 80-year old heart looked like and he had excellent
insurance so they did a quad bypass too. I asked about occlusion and
blockage and the surgeon told me there was none but his veins were a bit
thicker at the heart (duh-he'd just had 3 years vitamin C IV chelation)
but there were no calcium deposits or plaque in them. Once he woke up
from the 3 month coma they accidentally put him in --- they'd left a
hole in a bypass vessel and couldn't make it stop bleeding with all the
clotting drugs they pumped in--which worked immediately causing a stroke
after they went back in and stitched up the hole. Once he woke up, he's
been fine for 8 years save for the stroke damage. Energy's fine, brain's
addled. Wife only does what doctors say so we can't even try to fix that
unless she goes before he does.

Dear Group,

I have a question about surgeries and endomorphins. My husband

has always been extremely strong and had a high pain tolerance but
since his open heart surgery aches and pains bother him terribly.
Does surgery use up your endomorphins and you have to build them

back up? My dad had this same reaction after heart surgery and
never seemed to get his pain tolerance back.

Not many years back my husband was in a bad horse crash and had a

horse go over backwards on him and then got up and walked all over
him when he was down. He had a cracked hip and several broken
ribs and took part of his ear off and limited palse in one leg.

CSbar soap for leg cramps

That's what you use the slivers for, you know, those that are too little
to actually use but they clog the drain if you slip. Frugal people

I could make one and sell it to you but it'd be like stealing from you.
And shipping would be a bit high if you're not in the U tates.

  1. Go buy a 6 volt lantern battery.
  2. buy 2 alligator clips (not necessary but they make their end of
 the wire easier to handle.)
  3. Get some insulated copper wire (an old extension cord will do. I
cut off the cords on dead hairdryers, curling irons, etc and use
 that cord. split.)
  4. Strip the insulation off all 4 ends of the cord about 2 inches down.
  5. Each cord should be at least 3 feet long for decent mobility. Mine
are closer to 5 feet long.
  6. On one cord (the other will be identical) attach one of the
aligator clips. Wrap it around and tape it with electrical tape.
  7. At the other end, wrap a piece of cotton fabric maybe an inch and
a half long and quarter of an inch thick. This is the end you'll
put on your skin and the bare copper wire can make a burn. That's
why you wrap the cotton. You can use gauze bandaging with a touch
of glue or a tiny rubber band (kind used for little braids) to
 hold the cotton on.
  8. Take your wires to the sink and wet the cotton--helps with
 conductivity I think
  9. Clip one aligator clip to one pole on the battery and the other
 clip to the other pole.
 10. Place one covered end on the outside of jaw or even mouth where
painful tooth is place the other end on the inside of the jaw.You
should taste a little metal but not much else will happen.
 11. As someone else instructed, make sure you move those cloth-covered
ends because the electrity flows through from one to the other and
that path is the only place it kills infection. And switch inside
to outside or switch the aligator clips so that you're switching
 polarity fairly often.

All that being said, I'd start brushing with oregano oil. Took away my
last toothache. Kept my friend from having a tooth pulled. After about
30 seconds it numbs but it continues working on infection. Dilute the
oregano oil with olive or coconut oil by at least 50% (unless you bought
the expensive brand name that's already diluted). If it's a top tooth
I'd put a few drops on my toothbrush and saturate the area around the
tooth. Bottom teeth are easier to find ways to put it on from droppers
to toothpicks and q-tips to a toothbrush. Don't quit just because
there's no pain. Notice how little stuff there is to brush after using
a couple drops of oregano oil a day in the mouth. Clove oil will work
too, same instructions. It kills somewhat different pathogens than
oregano oil but will work much the same way.

CSLung Purge and COPD

2007-11-05 Thread Saralou

Hanneke very capably sent Tracy's Lung Purge protocol on 11/4 while I wasaway
from the list. Thanks much.

Below is my document which includes a few other notes from folks who posted on
that forum. Saralou

From Tracy Jones' Remedy CD

Remedy Purge to expel mucus from the lungs By Tracy

1. Begin with a six hour water fast. After this has been done
2. begin drinking with sipping two cups peppermint tea (cup = 250 g)
3. Drink one cup water mixed with 4 dropperful ( dropperful = dropper full or full pipette) lobelia extract and 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon mustard seedpowder, every ten minutes for four hours.
4. After a few cups (about 5 cups in the beginning and then
3-4) you will want to vomit. Do so by placing your finger down your throat forcing you to vomit. (do it into a big pot and see what is coming out!If it has red or black dots then it is pneumonia. This PURGE will stop it dead!)
5. Continue to do this until all that is coming up will come.
6. After each vomit take a couple sips of peppermint tea.
7. Afterwards, take extra doses of milk thistle extract and
8. fresh beet juice twice a day for a couple of days, it helps cleanse the liver.

Should congestion remain after eight hours has passed, then do it again using the same procedure. If necessary, do it again. It? s important the lobelia tincture be a strong one. TeeterCreek Herbs has the best unless you are making it yourself.

TOTAL LOBELIA TO BUY = 4 OUNCES. http://www.teetercreekherbs.com Go to site and
see what it's all about. Telephone Voice (orders only): 888-634-5637

Without the mustard seed powder with the mix, you don't get nausea until much, much later. The vomit is a reaction of the mustard seed powder and the gagging motion. The sipping of the peppermint tea after each vomit isto make sure you don't start coughing. The alternative is to do what I had to do while in the hospital when my lungs were so filled with mucus from years of smoking and my airplane accident cumulating with swallowing gas spilled on top of the lake water I crashed in, they had completely giving up on me and due to die the next morning. I got them to change their mind about the dying bit so to eliminate the mucus, I had to suck througha pipe and slowly cough it up.

Now imagine if you will five broken ribs, a broken collar bone, multiply head
injuries, right leg in traction unable to move with a broken pelvis bone, very
painful and difficult to breath, bedpans everywhere which weresometimes a hit
operation at best, mostly a missed one, and pain so bad every time I coughed, I
was beginning to think I had made a mistake aboutwanting to live. The mucus
being brought up was like spitting a little at a time done every four hours.
This was while I was on mucho morphine which didn't really help all that much.
Two weeks later they said my lungs were clear. After finding out about the
purge years later with no pain tospeak of and only taking five hours, I will
never, nor will I ever recommend such an ordeal to anyone like what I had to do
in the hospital doingthe same thing. From this personal experience I would much
rather have done the purge then to have gone through what I did to get the same
results only much faster and with a lot less pain. Tracy

According to the books mentioned already, the lobelia is what does it andit has
to be strong. I've seen a few try it with over the counter stock and it didn't
work no matter how much they grunted. Tracy

It's called osmosis whereas the lobela goes through the membranes and forces
the mucus up into the sinuses. Most people will feel the right side of their
sinus cavity to plug up during a session. The mucus then drains down into the
stomach and the mustard seed powder causes nausea. Poking you finger in your
throat tickling your tonsils makes for a gagging action when you feel your
nausea and up it comes. By doing the water fast six hours prior brings up
mostly the mucus that has drained down mixed with thewater you drunk. The more
mucus, the thicker it will be.

When people who do this protocol who have had a hard time breathing, ie,
emphysema, pneumonia, congestion, etc., the first thing they notice afterwards
is their ability to breath freely again

CStwo EIS questions

Given: Using a Silver puppy on automatic brew. Room temp distilled
water tests 0 on TDS meter. I have been seeding new batches with about

1. Timing. I think it may be taking too long to brew. *How do I fix
it? * When I first started I used a 16 oz canning jar and it was
finished in appx 3.5 hours. I've recently changed to a 32 oz jar and
it's taking a lng time. I can't exactly tell how long since
I'm not around when it quits. The one on the stirrer right now started
at 6 last night and it's still not done at 16 hours. Stirrer is appz 1
inch long. Q: is this right? Q: should I start with all
distilled H2O instead of distilled with EIS in it? Q: Will heating the
water in the microwave shorten the batch time? Q: will using a longer
stirrer help? Q: Is there any benefit to making many small batches
instead of larger ones? Q: Am i just being impatient?

2. Storage: *containers and length of time*. Q: Does it hurt the EIS
to use clean plastic pop bottles? Q: Do I need to shield it from light?
Q: Is there a rule of thumb for max storing time?

Thanks much. Saralou

Dr. Basar of Ankara University, Turkey found that oregano oil (origanum
vulgare) reversed emphysema in lab rats. If he coughs, it will calm the
cough and it will kill pathogens. Buy it form Anatolian Treasures and
get a great price and well tested product. If they don't have origanum
vulgare get origanum dubium--the properties are quite similar.

Tracy had a lung purge that will do amazing things for folks with
respiratory issues. Let me know if you want it and I'll send it

CS1st batch

2007-10-24 Thread Saralou
Last night I made my first batch of EIS on an automatic Silver Puppy
using the SWAP setting.

Distilled water tested 000 in to a 16 oz jar.
The silver rods darkened so I wiped them and nothing came off.
After ~3.5 hrs the lights were off and it tested 005 on my little Hanna
TDS meter.

Liquid is clear.
In anticipation of the next batch I wiped the silver a little harder and
got some tarnish off, leaving it shinier

Is it ok to use a metal canning jar lid? If not, why?

It is my understanding that without a more sophisticated (expensive)
tester there's a factor I can multiply the 5 by to approximate ppm of
silver. It is also my understanding that it doesn't matter much.

Is this correct?

Thanks. Saralou
