Now I try to run amsn and it segfaults (backtrace below). Of course I
recompiled it and removed ~/.amsn but it didn't seem to help. Any ideas
anyone? (apart from formatting?)
UPDATE:

Confirmed to be some deficient font. Works fine after a cleanup :)
Oh well, seems some package is broken, I'll have to reinstall them...

last case, I can't do much about it. Jerome, You said you'd hate to see
someone stop contributing because he has a problem with me, for that matter, I
took a decision which will allow everyone to keep working on aMSN without any
consideration for me, without any hard feelings..

I suggest doing it this way:
- Remove the Global nick setting
- Remove 'Show email on contactlist instead of nick' option
Won't these confuse people who are currently using them - and make them
lose their options?
- Have a new setting how a contact should be referenced in the top of a
can't
see PSM'S on CL at all. That way i could see them :P
global/custom nicks already support PSMs in them.. + they support \n and \t
too

BAD, BAD idea to add a $nick\n$psm to the global nickname!
First: the \n appears even if there is no psm set.
Second: the state appears on the new line.
Third: imagine opening a chatwindow
I have uploaded it here:

I can't seem to open this zip-file.
Same here (output below). The dragndrop.png file is not correctly
compressed. I had the same yesterday and eventually replaced it with
another png. :D
Also: I agree
This is a main GUI thing. It can be used all over the gui of amsn. To
drop files, contacts, text, to organise contacts in your list, to drag
contacts to a convo for a groupconvo .. to drag an image to hte place
where your DP is to put it as a new dp etc ... I really think this
*should*
It's not my idea, I just copied from a site... but anyway, yeah I guess
it's a good idea :)

Merge this with Vivia's idea, and you will have a dummy tkDnD for Mac

the idea was to automatically show the PSM in italic, can't show it
differently..
I don't want to mess with gui.tcl now because you are doing it already
(nice excuse for my laziness!), so can you make it automatically show psm
in italic even when it's in the custom / global nick? :D
