BMC actually did give me the correct syntax to create the service:

Here is an aremail.bat and command line text that actually worked (just

it to finally run correctly. You will of course have to modify the
directory paths. I also deleted the aremail entries out of the registry

I'm pretty sure that BMC Analytics uses the ODBC drivers, and even if they were

Hi all,
Please confirm that ARS 7.1 works/supports the oracle 11G..
The following is the minimum configuration requirement in a HP-UX box
for AR System 7.1:
Minimum Operating System version

HP-UX 11iv2
Platform - HP Integrity / Itanium

It is not supported. It may or may not work.
The minimum or or higher policy was first introduced with AR System version
7.5.00 and the policy was not grandfathered back to 7.1.00. Thus, the
compatibility matrix for 7.1.00 shows exactly the versions that are supported.

Patrick - not sure what you're referring to as a PreStack. If you're
referring to the Suite Preconfigured Stack Installer, that was first released
with 7.6.0x - thus what the SSI supports is not an indication of what AR System
7.1.00 supports.

Larry,
To the best of my knowledge, commas are never ‘stored’ in an integer value
however large it may be in a database. It would have been an illegal character
if an attempt was made to save a comma to an integer column. It must be the way
your database engine is reading the values when
Gopal,
Why don't you create an SQL view of that form with the distinct clause in
that SQL, and base your web service on a view form that is built on that SQL
view? That way you will have distinct values..
