My advice is to use something from RRR. I cannot remember its name, but do not

I've started with Migrator than used RRR for daily syncs. In the end it proves

Hello All,
On a old computer, I've managed to upgrade to 7.6.04 tools and now everything
is ok. The difference is in OS. The old commuter has an XP SP3, while the new
one runs Win 7 on 32.

Hello all,
Sometimes I need to update an old record with new data. In version ARS 7.1 I've
done it by modifying an export of type ARX and then I use de Import tool to

Now we use ARS 7.6.04. I've tried the same technique using Data Import Tool

Hello All,
We use ARS in custom mode and, so far, there is no need for UNICODE.
The migration from 6.3 to 7.1 let us upgrade ARS server on UNICODE Oracle 10g.
Consequently we have a ARS server that is nonUNICODE an Oracle that is UNICODE.
Now we have to migrate ARS server from version 7.1 to

Hello All,
In my opinion if there is no functionality that ties applications from
Informix database, there are no constrains.
For example I switch back and forward between Oracle and MS SQL 2 times.
The only issue is database performance and how it easy to manage it. In
my case ARS + MS SQL

Hello all,
It is a security risk to be able to execute something on the remote

Calling an EXE it is in the same category as DDE and OLE action.
This is the main reason I am an advocate of ARS client. A clickonce of

Hi all,
Users in general tends to use ODBC for ARS like, let say, any Oracle
ODBC.
Use only one form (table in ACC, CR or Excel). If there is a need to
report on 2 or more forms, build JOIN form in ARS, than make a report
on join form.
I test my SQL with MSQUERY before using in ACC or XLS.
Hi List,
As long as display only fields are available it makes no sense to use
something like copy the text of a text element to clipboard on gain
focus.

Hi Raj,
In your example 'form1' is parent. 'form2' is child. In form2 tickets
are created based on ticket created in form1. In this case on 'form2'
you must have a required field that hold 'Request ID' for ticket
submitted in form1.
Create a display only field of type integer on form1.
