What will upgrading Tomcat achieve when the error is broken Javascript
on the client side? Is there something in the documentation that
suggests it's anything other than BMC's problem?

I haven't seen this exactly, but in the past when we've had Caught Exception
errors, we deleted the person's record in the AR System User Preference form
In IM 7.03 using the web and going to...

I do a search by user ID and get the following error:
Caught exception :'t.LoadResultsList' is null or not an object
This is our QA system. It is IDENTICAL to our DEV system and the DEV

William - we had a very similar situation with a caught exception error
being thrown only in Dev but not in production (which were supposedly
identical). BMC support wasn't able to help even after tons of workflow

William,
Just a WAG, but maybe you are seeing something related to this bug?
(Resolved in 7.1 patch 003 of the Mid-Tier)
SW00285864
BMC Remedy Mid Tier
We started receiving this error today when accessing the mid-tier:
Caught Exception: 'mHaveVisualCharacteristics' is null or not an
object
This error only pops up when accessing the Home Page and the Applications List
field does not populate. All other forms are fine. In
of us has
exactly the same list as yours, their def file would be useful for you..
