SPrasad,
If you upgrade to ITSM 7 patch 6 or later you can download and install the ITSM
data management tool. The purpose of the tool is to populate included
spreadsheets, import them into a staging form and then push everything to the
correct areas. You could use the mappings from the data
Hi All,
Good day!
The session timeout of our mid-tier (ver 7.1.00) is configured for 90

Hi.
Pushing data to CTM:People from AD has turned out to be more complicated
than we thought, too. We are using filters to listen to our staging
form, look up some things and replace values, then push to CTM:People as
needed. We discovered that there are some things AR ESCALATOR can't do
because
I think that you can suppress those messages from the logs.
Depending on your network setup, your client connections from the
Mid-Tier may not be able to stamp the mid-tier. I know that here on my
network, my mid-tier connections do not stamp the IP address, rather a

You're going to have to write that one by performing the calculation. I'd

Hi,
In the old days, if two users updated the same record simultaneously, the
user who is last to save the change got a prompt looking something like
this: the record has been updated since you retrieved it, overwrite?
This does not seem to be the case any longer.
Anyone else recognize this?

I have encountered this during testing so it is still there.

Misi,
That is still the case, at least in 7.00.01 patch4. However and please
take note, even if the user who receives the message chooses the No

All,
Finally got BMC Support staff to talk to their engineers (after fighting with
them for almost 2 weeks)
Sure enough it was a known bug, and they've created a defect against it.
Should be fixed in Patch 6.

Hi Brian,
That message is totally correct. It says that there is no ARSystem database
and asks you to create a new one. Just click on 'Yes' and go on with the
installation.
Kind regards,

Hi!
Can anyone see why I can't seem to map my requests in a form to the type

The hierarchy in the WSDL is as follows:
xsd:complexType name=ShipmentType

xsd:complexType name=OrderLineType
it identifies the element that will be used to identify an individual
record in the source xml.
From item 12 on page 55 of AIE7.1.00_UsersGuide.pdf:
If this data mapping uses the XML adapter, then in the Row Element
field, type the

In our environment, we have an Oracle DB that stores info from AD as

for each user.
SO we have a view form that has escalation that pushes to a staging

From there, we use filters to push the data (one for adding new

Hi guys,
Hope you all are having a great day.
I have an slight issue and some questions that I hope someone could help
shed some light on before I take this to BMC support.
Recently, we did some group changes via the group form which caused a
group-cache update to be performed on the servers.
Hi Kristina
My 2 cents for Profile Status Error on CTM: People
Firstly, when you are trying to push a record into CTM:People, pass a value
of X into the field z1D Action.
And
On CTM:People, there is a filter named CTM:PPL:GetStatusRulesRead_031
Please disable that and copy to a new one
I believe I have seen ARERR(8760) on the List before.
How do I resolve this?
I know it has to do with the arplugin.exe

All,
I just upgraded my server from ARS 6.3 Patch 24 to ARS version 7.1 Patch 5.
The upgrade went without errors. I restart the ARS processes after a couple of

Do you have development cache mode enabled? If so, it handles caching

Yes, we do have the Cache-Mode set to 1 in our ar.conf file. Also, thanks

If you set Cache-Mode to 0 then workflow changes, like group and user

2) Open the form 'Config Service Target Data
